A number of disappointed Republicans have torched their voter cards and declared support for the #nevertrump campaign after the billionaire businessman clinched the party nomination following Ted Cruz's resignation.

Such is the resentment towards Trump, many are now readying themselves to vote for the Democrats despite being lifelong Republican supporters.

Photographs of them burning their voter registration cards have appeared on social media, while others say they are prepared to vote for Hillary Clinton.

Actually find this one more disturbing. "Fail the world" in her opinion is the fact Trump will be nominee, NOT the fact many like her are turning their backs on our nation's best interests!

To my estimation, the following is what the #nevertrump folks are missing:

In the upcoming campaign, Trump certainly will hold The Beast to answer for Benghazi and the use of her non-secure/private server. He won’t couch his concerns in “gummint-speak” but be very direct. He will fully expose The Beast as a corruptocrat...because he knows it first hand.

She took money from him -as a businessman- for certain favorable actions that she could manipulate.

He’s the one holding her “FBI files” this time. FBI = Financial and Business Information

It’s not a big deal at all since the few loons who actually carry through with their threat are more than offset by the many thousand Trump will attract from the Democrat Party and their many minority coalitions.

We’ve had enough - and are sick - of establishment betrayals.

Now they’re plotting the ultimate betrayal all because they don’t agree with the candidate.

We don’t need people like them in the Republican Party.

Don’t believe they were republicans to start with.

It looks like these “disappointed Republicans” are making the complete transition from responsible adults constitutionalists to whacked out crazy leftist haters.

Reminds me of the days when foaming-at-the -mouth leftists burned up their draft cards and when John Kerry faked throwing his own military medals over the White House fence.

That’s what led to an American hater like Barack Obama in the white house and a criminal murderess fighting a burned out ole hippy commie for the democrat nomination.

Screw ‘em.

I hate Hillary so much, I switched my registration to Democrat just so I could vote against her by voting for Bernie.

I will vote for Trump in the general, but were Trump to lose due to a bunch of Republicans voting for Hillary, I won’t re-register as Republican... I will leave the party permanently and go Independent.

I’m not really surprised, but their reaction is like the mad man who kills his wife when she leaves him so “no one else can have her”. In this case, it’s their POWER they are not willing to give away to someone who wants to use it to better the nation rather than feel important about themself.

A handfull of attention seekers, no big deal.

I wouldn't bet on it. Cruz got a huge chunk of the constitutional conservative vote, and those people are not happy about their man being wantonly trashed. Nor are they particularly happy about the gloating displayed by the winning faction ... especially since the proper time for gloating has yet to come.

So...the "Republicans" who hate Trump are honestly going to cast a vote for Clinton? Really!? And they accuse Trump of being the downfall of the party? I believe their thinking is screwed up.

Stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. What are they, idiots? I’d like for one of them … just one … to explain to me how a Clinton presidency would be better than a Trump presidency.

I can’t stomach the thought of a Hillary presidency. She’s just such a dishonest, awful person.

I’m going to vote, but I’m left feeling more and more disconnected from the process.

I’ve been molded and shaped by my experiences and education. I don’t see any candidate who could represent my interests at the federal level.

Even dumber; burning their card doesn’t mean they can’t vote. Even the gesture is useless.

Of course, they voted for Bill Clinton (at a minimum for Ross Perot which is still a vote for BC) in ‘92 after GHWB’s betrayal (read my lips, no new taxes).

No conservative would vote for Hillary. For any reason.

The RINOs will vote for Hillary. The conservatives will either wear a gas mask to the polls, or stay home.

“I’ll show you, face - I’m gonna cut off my own nose, just to spite you!”

Such impulsiveness may prove to be extremely painful, and the consequences may go for a lot longer than ever imagined.

Perhaps these same fair-weather patriots should also leave the country, if somehow The Donald DOES get elected, in spite of them. There is no room for them in a land they no longer recognize or can relate to.
