Oh give me a home
Where the buffalo roam
And I’ll show you a place that’s a mess.
He can’t leave ANYTHING alone- He is going to change practically everything before he leaves- even going so far as to change the national mascot?
It amazes me how the Sharps Big 50 did that with black powder. It eradicated the buffalo on the plains in a fairly short span of time.
The difference is that if you get 15 to 20 bison together, they form a herd and protect one another. They can be down right nasty when they want to.
Thank goodness. I thought he was going to name the transgender human as the national mammal.
Herd animal. Native American culture. Ecology.
I can see why the lefties like this new symbol but why are the Pubbies going along?
IMO.............
I think Bison are real tasty. It would not be good to eat an Bald eagle.
Try the decaf.
You should be happy, as this move signals the return to a position of respect for the bison, having once graced our coinage.
Yes, a hundred or so years ago, our money was redesigned. Somehow the republic survived.
Next he’ll name a new dish to replace the Thanksgiving turkey: the dog!
(It’s a good thing the Pilgrims didn’t eat a cat on Thanksgiving. That would mean we’d be eating..........)
Calm down, the Eagle isn't going anywhere.
Our national tree should be the “Tree of Liberty”, bloody roots and all.
Buffaloes used to be on the nickel
I have posted repeatedly in the threads over the changes to the $20 dollar bill that I do not think any president or historical figure should be on US money.
The US should use native animals on coins. For example: prairie dog (penny), buffalo (nickel), turkey (Dime),eagle(Quarter), salmon (Fifty Cent) grizzly bear ($1.00), rattle snake ($2.00)
Bills should be something like $1.00 Seated goddess of liberty, $2.00 Walking Liberty, $5.00 goddess of Freedom, $10.00 Walking Justice, $20.00 Bald Eagle, $50,00 The Washington Monument, $100.00 USS Constitution (sailing ship), $500 Moon landing, $1000.00 Mayflower.
The US is not a kingdom or empire Cesar nor his sycophants should be on our currency
Oh, well, DMZ, you believe then that when BO makes changes they’re all for the good.
Stay away from polling places...they’re dangerous to the health of the rest of us.
My first thought on reading “this beast” was making Moocher the national animal. Phew!
I have no idea what this means.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say it's bluish.
I tried to go to YouTube to post the video of the Japanese tourists being chased by a bison, and ended up watching videos of busty women jogging or jumping in place in HD super slow motion...
What were we talking about?
Listen - if we can keep that knucklehead focused on stupid stuff like “national animals”, we keep him away from the really horrific stuff he and his people want to pull on us.
Priorities.
A bull can go from its belly flat on the ground to a full gallop in half a heart beat.
That’s what I think he meant. You’re right.
