Greta makes an unexpected statement about Cruz
REdstate ^ | May 3, 2016 | RedState

Gretawire reported: Senator Ted Cruz complained this morning about Fox News Channel being unfair to him. He took a few swipes at Fox News Channel CEO Roger Ailes and 21st Century Fox Chairman Rupert Murdoch for turning Fox News into the “Donald Trump Network.” In taking those swipes, he also took swipes at my show and my staff on ON THE RECORD at 7p since we have worked hard to give Cruz equal opportunity and we have.

Hence I respond with the whole story. If Senator Ted Cruz told the whole story this is what he would have to tell you: Almost every single day (including weekends) since at least last December when he last appeared on ON THE RECORD at 7p, the staff of ON THE RECORD at 7p has contacted the Cruz campaign offering Senator Ted Cruz live interviews, taped interviews or town halls. We even told his campaign on dozens occasions that they could pick the date and location for the town halls. He did not take us up on our offers. The staff claimed he was unavailable.

I’m glad you thought the protester was brilliant; Rush called him braindead. But he made the sneery, I-Never-Got-Over-Being-Debate-Champion-at-Harvard Cruz look like a total fool for about 6 or 7 minutes on national tv. Cruz reminds me of a prom queen who never gets over her high school days. Well, he was schooled by a working-class guy and that’s going to stick the way Lloyd Bentson’s insults, unfortunately, stuck to poor Dan Quayle.

Deal with it, Cruz. Put on your big-boy pants and try to figure out why nobody likes you.

". . .offering Senator Ted Cruz live interviews, taped interviews or town halls.

Just how in the Hell does "live interviews" rule out phone interviews ?

She didn't offer him an interview in a refrigerator, an interview in the nude, or an interview with Greta dressed as a USSC Justice with Ted wearing his Panda Bear Furry suit, either.

I believe Greta too.

I also believe that the Sunday morning shows and other media outlets have been inviting Cruz, because there’s nothing they love more than the back-and-forth of political drama, but for whatever reason, for the most part, he has declined their invitations.

Cruz is always complaining about Trump getting all of the airtime, and yet, he doesn’t take advantage of the airtime he is offered. Weird.

I do too and that’s why I’m not ashamed to tell that I watch her every night! I think she’s fair and her work on prisoners abroad as well as working with Samaritans Purse and other organizations that aid the needy and suffering people around the world PLUS her work with police and veterans groups make her tops in my book.

He was dishonest, and very liberal in a lot of ways. I personally know he staged an “assault” on his bus right before the 1970 election by having it deliberately driven into a crowd people outside of an event in San Jose. There was no riot. Nixon came out of the event, stood on top of a car and flashed his double V signs at a crowd that was a mix of demonstrators, laid off aerospace workers and just people there with their kids hoping to see the president. Then he got on the bus, the cops formed a flying wedge in front and charged directly into the thickest part of the crowd with no warning or order to move. The next day all the media was full of the story that “rioters” tried to storm his bus amid a “hail of rocks and bottles”, complete with photos of his bus surrounded by a crowd. There was no hail of rocks and bottles, people were mostly just trying to get out of the way. It was totally staged.

Nixon also gave us among other things the EPA, wage and price controls, and the War on Drugs. And then there was that little coverup thingy.

Yes I have to agree with assessment. A lot of talking while ushering in more globalist agenda items. It makes me sad that the Tea Party was used to get him elected. Used by a lot more than him though. Beck comes to mind too.

That guy wasn't a jerk! Quite the opposite. I realize no one remembers Froggie the Gremlin from the old Andy Devine Show in which that nasty little toy interrupted pompous types with non-sequetars and sent self-important talking points quickly into the toilet. That's exactly what this Joe the Plumber type did - and completely flummoxed the humorless and deeply earnest Cruz into an early political grave.

Laura Ingraham said the same about a month ago. The Cruz campaign just ignored her open invitation/outreach then whined that she was being unfair. All other candidates appeared on her radio show except Ted.

The whole “lyin Ted” thing is getting old, and makes my decision easier not to support Trump, based on the vitriol and ridiculousness of his supporters.

I don’t know about “Lyin’ Ted” but I do know about “Doesn’t Tell The Whole Story Ted”

Senator Ted Cruz complained this morning about Fox News Channel being unfair to him.

If Senator Ted Cruz told the whole story this is what he would have to tell you:

Almost every single day (including weekends) since at least last December when he last appeared on ON THE RECORD at 7p, the staff of ON THE RECORD at 7p has contacted the Cruz campaign offering Senator Ted Cruz live interviews, taped interviews or town halls. We even told his campaign on dozens occasions that they could pick the date and location for the town halls. He did not take us up on our offers. The staff claimed he was unavailable.

But it wasn’t just my staff making those offers to the Cruz campaign, so did I and many, many, many times. Even as recently as yesterday, I was back and forth with his campaign.

We bent over backwards trying to give him the opportunity for interviews. He elected not to – which is his right – but now he is crying boo-hoo and claiming we are unfair.

To the extent Senator Cruz complains that Fox News carried Trump speeches, so did the other networks, CNN and MS/NBC. Is he complaining about them?

That’s the whole story – Senator Cruz has had equal opportunity to appear at 7pm ON THE RECORD but has declined. Period.

That’s the whole story.

PS. My invitations for interviews to Senator Cruz remain open and I will be fair and respectful as I am in all my interviews of Presidential candidates.

“I can’t tell one’s lies from the other. Cruz and Trump. Politifact is no help as it seems to have a leftist bent.”

Well, I’ve been able to debunk every lie about Trump that I’ve gotten into so far. Not Ted. I once liked him, but I do MY OWN research and did just that a couple years ago..the more I learned the less I liked.

One lie Ted tells on the stump about Trump is that Trump has filed Bankruptcy FOUR times!
NOT!

Donald Trump has NEVER filed personal bankruptcy! FACTS matter, but not to the open border crowd! As someone who has worked for decades in this field, I know what a Chapter 11 Bko is...and so does the lying Cruz campaign. It is reorganization..the creditors agree to a repayment plan and get paid! Trump could have just liquidated these companies when he acquired them, but he didn’t dump on the creditors and do that.

Law Dictionary: How is Donald Trump Able to File for Bankruptcy So Many Times?
http://thelawdictionary.org/article/how-is-donald-trump-able-to-file-for-bankruptcy-so-many-times/

Written by James Hirby | Fact checked by The Law Dictionary staff

People might ask “How is Donald Trump able to file for bankruptcy so many times?” The answer is “He didn’t.” Trump himself has never filed for bankruptcy. His corporations have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy four times. By filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the corporation is allowed to continue running while restructuring and reducing its debt. By allowing the business to continue, employees still have their jobs and the business is still making money. Corporate debts still need to be repaid but they may be reduced. The corporation must develop a repayment plan and corporate budget. Both must be approved by the creditors and by the bankruptcy court.
