Video posted on YouTube shows a woman at a Walmart store loudly berating a man who was paying for his groceries with food stamps.

As a child sits in the man’s shopping cart looking on, the woman complains about how she is paying for his food with her tax money.

NOTE: The description below, and video above, contains strong language.

“You know, I put in 50-60 hour weeks... trying to provide for my family,” the man says, although some of his words are unclear.

“You’re not providing for it, I am,” the woman snaps back. “The government is.”

“You’re not,” the man says.

“They take it out of my check,” the woman says. “Bull**** they don’t.”

The man suggests she complain to her lawmaker or vote Republican.

“Oh, trust me, I am not a bleeding heart f*****g liberal,” the woman answers.

The rest of the clip contains a similar back-and-forth, punctuated with expletives. Both appear to be shopping with children.

“Deal with it, b***h,” the man says at one point.

At another point, the woman claims the man must be a supporter of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

“That’s exactly what you vote for, they give it to you so that you vote that way,” the woman says.

This is how the welfare crowd thanks us for our hard work to make sure they have “free” food and housing

Great bunch

That may not be factual in this case.

“You know, I put in 50-60 hour weeks... trying to provide for my family,” the man says

Eh, most of the people working at the WalMart are on food stamps. If she has a problem with it, she needs to shop elsewhere.

The Bridge Card in Michigan (food) lets the cardholder spend any and all accumulated benefits even after they return to work. Their situation may have improved to the extent that if they were to apply for new assistance, they would not be approved. However, any remaining benefits from their previously applied-for request for assistance can be used up over an indefinite period of time.

I would think if he were actually working 50-60 hours a week, he’d be making too much to qualify for food stamps.

i live in a sweet little town but i am surrounded by welfare-ites. i work 40 hours minimum a week and keep my yard spotless. the leeches, all with 3-5 obese kids, don’t have jobs, stay home all day and let the weed seeds fly all over. their dogs shit in my yard, kids out swearing at each other, and the worthless parents come out when the sun goes down so as not to hurt their nocturnal eyeballs. what the heck do they do all day??

i understand this woman’s frustration completely..

If he were a minimum wage worker, working 50-60 hours a week, that would be roughly $(380-480)/week (took out 5% for basic taxes and added 1.5 pay for overtime).

That’s $19760-$24960 a year, which is pretty low so I guess it is possible for him to be working that much and be in the poverty level.

How did she know the guy was on food stamps? I don’t think any state gives out actual stamps anymore. The transaction is done on a debit card, that looks like any other. Removing the stigma, and incidents like this one.

In the words of Hank Williams:

Mindin’ other people’s business seems to be high-toned
I got all that I can do just to mind my own
Why don’t you mind your own business
(Mind your own business)
If you mind your own business, you’ll stay busy all the time.

That makes no sense. If the man is working 50-60 (or whatever) hours, why is he eligible for taxpayer-funded food stamps??

You can tell. I always can when I’m in line.

They separate out the food that qualifies from the items that don’t.

I'm not seeing the problem here. Taking away unused benefits when someone returns to work would create an incentive to either spend everything as soon as it comes in or to not bother looking for work, neither of which is desirable.

LOL. I guess the real reason she was upset is that she thinks if taxes weren’t so darn high she could afford to have a plastic surgeon do something about that nose so it’s short enough to stay out of other people’s business.
