Cruz Preparing To Suspend Campaign This Week?
DC Whispers ^ | 05-02-2016

FYI: Today the very same rumor from two different (and trusted) sources suggest Senator Ted Cruz’s campaign is currently engaged in ongoing discussions regarding the subject of suspending the campaign as early as this week should the Texas senator lose tomorrow’s Indiana primary.

There’s absolutely no reason for Sen. Cruz to suspend his campaign until Mr. Trump secures 1237 delegates.

Glen Beck! told me that G-d said I should go the distance. He told him personally at lunch, as he was munching a tortilla, so it must be true.

Is there any sane voter in the great state of Indiana that will cast a vote for “spoiler/nutcase” Ted Cruz? Each day that both Ted Cruz & John Kasich stay active in the POTUS race, although both, are totally failed losers, hurts the Republican chances to get to effectively taking on HIllary Clinton and the Democrat Party. Fact is: Neither Ted Cruz or John Kasich can ever come close to defeating Hillary Clinton, or, any other Democrat in the POTUS....simple zero crossovers for these two deadbeats.

What really irks me, is that the Chairman of the RNC, loser, Reince Priebus & the RNC itself should be taking prompt, effective action to force both Cruz & Kasich out of the POTUS race. Neither candidate has any chance (ZERO) of getting the necessary 1237 delegates to secure the GOP POTUS nomination.
By their inaction....the GOP Establishment leadership is not taking full advantage of lead time to take on Clinton and the Democrat Party with purpose. In effect.......Priebus & the RNC are handing the election to Ms. Clinton & the Democrat Party!!!

Wise up, good folks & voters in Indiana.....your vote cast today for either Ted Cruz or, John Kasich is 100% a vote cast for Hillary Clinton to become our next POTUS.....shame on all of you!!! Go DONALD J. TRUMP....the people and voters in Indiana are with you!!!

Good point. I’m fine with Cruz in the race if nothing else than to cripple Kasich further than Kasich cripples Kasich.

The West Coast isn’t going to Kasich.

True, but I do like 9YearLurker's point on how Cruz at least stifles further growth of Kasich's numbers. Trump is going to hit the magic number at this point. We just need to keep Kasich confined to the petri dish he crawled out of. Cruz serves that much of a purpose at this point. I no longer see him as a viable threat to Trump, the GOPe is going to euthanize his campaign in a heartbeat.

I could be wrong, but the biggest threat I see is not Cruz but Kasich.

Beyond that, I don't put it beyond the GOPe freaks to run Lindsey Graham as a third party candidate.

"It’s campaign staff who want to shop themself somewhere else to Kasich or the RNC or a big Senate campaign."

Or even Trump. Bank on it. "I didn't know nuffin' about Jeffroe's schemes, Mistuh Trump. Please hire me. I'll help ya count the votes *cough cough* in Novemberrr."

I sort of doubt this.... his massive ego won’t permit him to do the right thing.

“...None of this FREE SPEECH for you!!!!!...”

Must we shout so loud in the morning?

Having and stating an opinion that Levin and Beck have become beyond obnoxious (which they have) is also exercising free speech.

Free speech works from both directions so no need to yell.

Doubt that he’ll suspend; it’s not his nature. Also, Daddy told him he’s been anointed King (of America?).

“Man, I don’t want him anywhere near it (SCOTUS).”

“Amen!” to that. His time in the Senate proves that he’s easily manipulated and/or bought off. That’s the last thing we need in SCOTUS. We have Roberts, who we believed to be noble and conservative, and we don’t need another like him.

“Well, I don’t wish any harm to Cruz. I’d like to never hear his name again after the next week or so.”

Exactly. I think Trump should make it clear after Cruz loses Indiana, that Cruz really is nonexistent in this campaign. Start going after Hillary! It will ADD even more support to the Trump side.

Cruz is the dead horse that Trump should simply stop beating. It’s over.

“..ratings will plummet...”

Ratings will skyrocket the minute Trump starts to (verbally) take down Hillary because it will be epic. People are going to be paying close attention to this battle.

Also - the BLM protests and the illegal migrant criminal crap that goes on from the left (unfortunately) holds the public’s attention, although crossing the line into violence and keeping Trump from his free speech right to speak by mob force is just plain wrong.

ON Cruz’s website the only events listed today are 2 stops in Indiana.

The next event listed is May9th and it’s not a Cruz appearance, it’s a call for supporters to man the phones.

Not seeing any other events scheduled.
