I get what you're saying, now find a jury who will discount the argument that the man showed a firearm, threatened to kill and was simply going to a place of cover to carry out the threatened deed.

Now that she’s an adult, the bad don’t mess w/her and she’s still only about 5’1.

That’s what I was thinking. A good dog would have already ripped the legs off the meth head long before the kid could fire the first shot. A good dog wouldn’t have allowed anyone onto the property without warning and certainly not into the house.

That's why I could cut the boy some slack. He's only eleven, so no charges should be forthcoming. A boy gets threatened like that, with a threat of being killed, that's going to impact his judgement and be reason enough to shoot at the fleeing thief. This kid will never be charged, even then if charged he would be found not guilty. He served notice to the perp not to come back.
