Cruz Vows to ‘Go the Distance’ Ahead of Crucial Indiana Primary
With a pivotal vote in Indiana this week, Ted Cruz is vowing to "go the distance," whatever the outcome of Tuesday's primary.
"It is an incredibly important state," Cruz said of Indiana on ABC's "This Week." "We are competing hard. I hope we do well here. I can tell you I'm barnstorming the state, we're in a bus with my family, we're doing everything we can to earn the votes of the men and women in this state. We're going the distance. We're competing the entire distance.”
Cruz, trailing his main rival Donald Trump by 431 delegates, enters this week after two weeks of losses to Trump in six states. When pressed by ABC News’ Martha Raddatz about whether Indiana is a must win, Cruz would not say. While it is mathematically impossible for Cruz to clinch the 1237 delegates needed to secure the nomination before the Republican convention in July, Cruz says Trump won't get there either.

I can’t wait to see what this prick is going to try to do in Cleveland.
Cruz should fire the VP if he loses.

He knows he’s going to lose Indiana, and now wants to pretend like the importance he put on it wasn’t really what he thought.
Someone or some organization is telling Cruz to stay the course, and that individual or organization sure as Hell isn’t in the Republican Party or even on K or Wall Streets.
Trump must be stopped so the U.S. can continue on its course of destruction, which will meet whoever that individual or entity is objective.
Ted continues to take being a rat to new levels.
It’s amazing how easily and often Cruz lies.
I think his distance is quite short at the moment, will not take him long to find the exit door.
Cruz gets an A for determination and an F for adjusting.
He needs to do a very thorough analysis of what is going on and what adjustments he needs to make.
That’s what you should do when you are getting your behind kicked. He’s hoping that Trump’s foot will get more sore than his (Cruz) behind. Hard way to live. Trump could just start kicking with his other foot.
Cruz lacks business, military and government bureaucracy experience. He should be looking at the quickest means of getting experience in those areas and preparing himself for the next race.
Can you Cruz supporters not see the narcissist mindset of this guy???
With the attitude and the way he has campaigned for this election, he is all but eliminating himself from the NEXT race....
It's why, no matter who wins, the agenda marches forward.
Can you imagine the amount of “baggage” he would be carrying in 2020????
The Cruz move has made Carly a three-time loser in politics.
Clearly, he is a man for ALL Americans. LOL.
Cruz has damaged the Cruz brand. Adopting the bitter clinger plan, he’d be lucky to ever be elected to anything. I have to wonder, if Trump is elected ,will Cruz be joing the Democrats in opposing Trump?

It seems to me that the only possible explanation is back room support BY the party.
Rather than “Go the distance”, Cruz needs to find a way to “Ease his pain”.
