Donald Trump Leads Cruz by 15 Points in Crucial Indiana Race
NBC ^ | 5/1/2016 | Mark Murray

Donald Trump holds a 15-point lead over Ted Cruz in the potentially decisive May 3 presidential primary race in Indiana, according to results from a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll.

Trump gets support from 49 percent of likely Republican primary voters — followed by Cruz at 34 percent and John Kasich at 13 percent. If that margin in Indiana holds on Tuesday, Trump would be on a glide path towards obtaining the 1,237 delegates he needs to win the Republican nomination on a first ballot at the GOP convention in July.

538 just changed his “polls plus” forecast to 69% chance of Trump winning Indiana. Up ‘til today he had Cruz winning “polls plus.”

His “polls only” forecast is 94% Trump winning. AFAIK he’s always had Trump winning “polls only.”

Rafael’s VP doesn’t seem to have impressed them.

If Trump wins by that margin, Cruz will likely choose another VP.

He’s throwing stuff on the wall hoping something sticks.

After Indiana, where will Cruz’s next final stand be?

But, being such a winner, he needs to pick his whole cabinet first. After all, his election is such a foregone conclusion, there’s not even any reason for people to vote.

Cruz will likely choose another VP.

It will be Joanne Kasich.

We’ll see.

If Rafael loses by a landslide he might give his inaugural speech the next day.

And Beck might swear him into office again.

Indiana has bad demographics for Cruz, the people are allowed to vote.

Pray America wakes

I believe originally Cruz was supposed to win Indiana. If things are turning for Trump this big there, I wonder what happens to all the other states.

Good for a few laughs.

The minor league propagandists at USA today and Indianapolis Star would do well to remember how Goebbels and his family ended up.

He’s the kind of guy who will think he’s won after Trump is inaugurated. I can see him setting up an oval office in his garage and sitting there giving pronouncements to the neighborhood.

The 538 guy has just updated Trump’s Indiana stats giving him something like a 70% chance of winning!
