...... who is interested in seeing and hearing his outstanding skills at lying?

*****************************************

Especially after almost 8 years of lies by the current Liar-in-Chief. We don’t need a repeat performance.

Senator Cruz has spent his whole life just trying to debate. ..He’s never created a job in his life other than lobbyist. ...he’s never signed the front of a paycheck...My father’s created tens of thousands of jobs.

Now that’s the message the Trump campaign should be focusing on. All the way to the White House.

Cruz has the same problem as the old silent film star John Gilbert:

[Some cite studio politics as the reason for Gilbert’s rapid decline in popularity during the talkie era, though others insist that audiences simply hated his voice.]

I watched a youtube of Cruz and Megyn Kelly when Cruz did this exact thing - twisting Trumps words to mean something he never said.

We all know Trump wants to get rid of Obanacare and have private companies compete across state lines...but Cruz argues ....and won’t back down...that Trump is going to keep Obamacare and make it worse...or something like that. It’s bizarre. He has also argued that Trump is going to get rid of the second amendment. Hence the name “lyin’ Ted”.

For someone who many claim is illiterate and unable to communicate well, Trump sure manages to get cogent thoughts across.

So much nice to have someone talk to you vs. lecture/debate you...

Another problem with Cruz is that Heidi cruz just admitted he’s an immigrant. Problem is no immigrant can ever be a “natural born citizen”. Ted Cruz is not constitutionally qualified.

Ted’s a lawyer but not a very good lawyer. A good lawyer knows when to cut a deal. He should have done that with Trump about a month ago. Now that ship has sailed.

A debate now is as ridiculous an idea as naming a vice-president, when you are mathematically eliminated.

Cruznadian is hedging his bets!

Next will be an announcement that his Presidential Library will be in Indiana, West Virginia, California and Texas.

"Ted’s a lawyer but not a very good lawyer."

You're right, and not just about his not knowing when to cut a deal.

He can't read a jury, he doesn't know the difference between arguing a point and attacking opposing counsel, he doesn't buttress his primary points with facts in evidence as opposed to buttressing them with an appeal to his own authority, completely inflexible presentation tactics poorly executed, an astonishing lack of sincerity even when clearly trying to be sincere, completely incoherent points made and repeated as if they're "show stoppers", and an inability to move from one point to the next rather than being bogged down in minutia.

Maybe he's at least average when it comes to the technical fine points that are the bread and butter of internecine government/government squabbles, but I've seen no sign that he's either a Master Debater (other than his silly grin of self satisfaction) or that he could negotiate anything worthwhile for his client unless you consider negotiating five years for attempted robbery down to immediate death in the electric chair a successful negotiation.

Of course, after watching him come apart in a few debates and interviews you can't rule out the possiblity that Ted has some major mental problems, so who knows. Maybe Ted is the best attorney on the planet but trapped in the emotional world of a thirteen year old smart ass little girl. The folks who know psychology bettter than I will have to speak to how likely that is.
