Atlantic City has so little money left that it could miss a $1.8 million bond payment due Sunday, a step that would make it the first New Jersey municipality to default on debt since the Great Depression.

The Jersey Shore gambling destination has endured years of strain as a third of its casinos shut down. But now its cash levels are low enough that bankruptcy is a possibility for the 39,000-population city, according to Mayor Don Guardian.

Good. You couldn’t PAY ME to travel to Noo Joisey, and I sure wouldn’t go to Atlantic City. A state where you can’t own a gun, can’t pump your own gas, and you’re outnumbered by thugs enabled by a government controlled by organized crime? NO THANKS.

I don’t know where you get the idea that you cannot own a gun in New Jersey, that is totally false. They don’t make it easy but it is not impossible by any stretch. From where I sit right now there are 4 gun shops within 10 miles.

The below text is from the New Jersey state website. You CANNOT own firearms without a Firearms Purchaser Identification Card. What the hell is that? Where in the Constitution does it say I have to have permission to even BUY a firearm?

How do you obtain a Firearms Purchaser Identification Card and/or a Permit to Purchase a Handgun? You must apply at your local police department. If you do not have a local police department or you are an out of state resident, you must apply at the nearest New Jersey State Police station (excluding toll roads, stations on the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, and Atlantic City Expressway). Out of State residents may only apply for a Firearms Purchaser Identification Card.
