Where to begin? So many inaccuracies, so little time.
from the link at http://hotair.com/archives/2016/01/12/mitch-mcconnell-why-no-the-senate-wont-pass-a-resolution-affirming-cruzs-eligibility-like-it-did-for-mccain/
1. “The Senate previously issued a resolution [in 2008] confirming then-nominee John McCains eligibility to serve as president.
A NON-BINDING resolution, meaning it has ZERO weight. Worthless except for PR purposes. It has no legal authority whatsoever.
2. The Arizona senator was born on a military base in Panama to American parents.”
He was NOT born on a Military base, not that it would make any difference if he was. He was born in Colon Hospital, in the city of Colon, Panama. (It says so on his birth certificate) Also, not mentioned here, but is usually mentioned in regards to McCain, Colon, Panama was specifically NOT included as part of the Panama Canal Zone, as in EXCLUDED from U.S. jurisdiction. Again, not that it mattered because the Canal Zone was NEVER part of the United States or a territory.
His parents WERE U.S. citizens, that part is true. So Johm McCain was a “native” born U.S. citizen. Meaning he was a U.S. citizen “at birth”, not needing to be naturalized. He WAS NOT a “natural born citizen” at birth (the only time you can become one, at birth), for the simple reason that he was BORN IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY! (Like Ted Cruz)
3. “No, I have no doubt. Senator Cruz is a natural born citizen by virtue of the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution, Wasserman Schultz said.”
This is a common claim that “because of the 14th amendment”....except for the FACT that nowhere in the 14th amendment is the phrase “natural born citizen” mentioned! It’s NOT in there. The 14th amendment has NOTHING to do with “natural born citizen” status.
4. Born on U.S. soil to TWO U.S. citizen parents, PERIOD.
Ted was born on CANADIAN soil, to ONE U.S. citizen (as far as we know) parent. He is NOT ELIGIBLE on TWO counts.
Dual citizenship is NOT AN ISSUE
What Canada (or any other foreign country for that matter) allows or doesn’t allow has ZERO bearing on U.S. citizenship.
The United States of America does not allow or care what other countries say or do concerning U.S. citizenship.
THINK ABOUT IT! Would the United States allow some other country to dictate or decide matters of United States citizenship? OF COURSE NOT!
I don’t think she attacked so much as she sat there with an exasperated look on her face trying to get the stupid bastard to stop talking for even one second.
Ted Cruz is an obnoxious ashole.
Hey! And with your support I’m back!
Let’s take a whack at Hillary
Lol. Another Mitch McConnell guy at FR. Good grief.

Are you too challenged to read what I posted? You’re a freakin ‘ idiot.
First of the month I'll make another donation to Trump (and FR) because I believe it's what folks do if they want to be taken seriously in their beliefs - still haven't received a single email/letter/call from his campaign requesting more funds after a couple donations so far.
