Will Kasich name a running mate soon? On Sunday, Kasich said his team had begun the vetting process. “We have some old hands now who are beginning to do that. These things come quickly, and you don't want to have yourself in position where you have got to pick somebody out of a hat."

Lets see; Trump first with a major and stunning policy speech, Cruz and Kasich first and second with VP picks. Hmmmm.
Trump is so many moves ahead and levels above Cruz and Kasich it’s not even funny. It’s sad. Sad how people get stuck staring at one tree so long they get so cross-eyed they think the fuzzy thing they see is the whole forest. Sad to see Cruz and Kasich so detached from reality.

I think he was also supposed to take delegates from Trump in the northeast, but that didn’t work out. Correct, Kasick hurting Trump in the north east was a major part of the #NeverTrump plan. Happily as you note, it did not work.

I'm of the thinking they did the /Fiorina thing on purpose to observe any bump upward among women voters? They, meaning the RNC and Trump. I really don't think it was some clever strategery on the part of Cruz. I think we are down to more advanced image shape shifting to benefit Trump nationally.
Cause and effect is being managed at this point among all the players toward an end goal.
