Great points: though I wonder how Trump will get the democrats to not politicize foreign involvement...

That "waters edge" certainly didn't apply to Bush...

As far as I can tell the democrats are willing to put our military, soldiers, our sovereignty in harm' way to retain to try and get power...

I don't see them changing anytime soon...

The difference is Trump is directly connected to the people in a way no other “politician” has ever been. He uses the words “we” and “us”. Anyone thinking they can do dirty deeds in the corner or defy the will of the people better take notice. Those days are over.
