Donald Trump has been projected as the winner of the Republican presidential primaries in Pennsylvania and Connecticut, victories that continued the New York real estate moguls dominance in contests along the East Coast.
Those projections were made by Edison Research as polls closed at 8 p.m., and they relied on exit polls.
In Maryland, the Associated Press projected Trump and Hillary Clinton as winners, even though a few polling places in West Baltimore will remain open until 9 p.m.

If Trump is pulling above 60% in every state, there’s no more contest to be had. This is over, and Trump is our nominee.

SS different day, bright red nose
Big news of the night. .... incredible disaster for Cruz. 3d in at least 3 possibly 4 of the 5 contests.
This will be cataclysmic for Cruz’s fundraising.
But, but, the 2nd ballot.....
“No worries, Cruz will swoop in and siphon off the delegates one by one. [/s]”
You were being sarcastic — but don’t underestimate how low Cruz is willing to sink to achieve his goal. He has no honor. It is amazing he has been able to con so many people to support him.
But it’s time for those people to wake up, abandonthis egotistical pretender and join the movement: support Trum, defeat Hillary and “Make America Great Again!”
