I have personal friends in the UK. London & Glasgow in particular. They would tell you that Obama is a joke, and likely a psychopath. This opinion hold true in much of Western Europe too.

Yet eight years ago, it seemed that all of Western Europe thought he was great, and there was something wrong with us Americans if we weren't voting for him (not referring to your friends of course, just basing my perception on media reports of the European Obama rallies back in 2008).
