A new gun control campaign is targeting Nevadans.

A group founded by former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, D-Ariz., and her husband, retired astronaut Mark Kelly, is pushing for new laws that would bar people on the terrorist watch list and the no-fly list from purchasing firearms. However, gun rights and civil rights groups continue to raise concerns about due process over those lists.

The group, Americans for Responsible Solutions, said a majority of Nevadans would support a federal law prohibiting people on the FBI’s terrorist watch list or the no-fly list from buying firearms, according to poll results released Tuesday.

Public Policy Polling surveyed 583 Nevada voters from April 15-17 to ask them about closing the “terror gap.” The poll has a margin of error of 4.1 percentage points.

Let’s see. A Vet decides to let someone else handle his financials for whatever reason and he goes on the list as mentally incompetent. A particular other person gets shot in the head and that persons comprehension skills are greatly diminished. The person with the head shot and her ass-tro-naught hubby talk about the guns they own. Hmmmm. What’s wrong with this picture? You think Gabby does her own checkbook these days?

Think how many less Jews would've been killed in Concentration camps if they had been armed.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

You can make a poll say anything you want. Leftists do it all the time.

I shot a man in Reno. Who knew Johnny was thinking about the future?

Selective polling by a notorious gun grabber means nothing.

All Nevadans MUST protect their Constitutional and God-given right to self-defense by voting down this craziness this November.

Now I hear that Reno is a resettlement destination for Syrians. Complements of the Feds.

Please post the source. Last I saw, it was one intake center in Las Vegas. But really, it doesn't matter where they come in since there aren't border controls between states.

Tryin’ to inform those that do not wish to be informed is hard sometimes. Of course we’ll keep trying. Some are too far gone and see the header for Question #1 and go “Okay, that sounds right to me.” I watched some of the pollsters collecting signatures and was astounded at how easy it was for them to lie to people. Mostly targeted women. Never did see if there was a gender breakdown of those that signed.

VOTE NO ON #1 IN NOV.

Yeah, I saw them at the polling places too. Looked like hired homeless people. Also observed the type who listened to the pitch, and you nailed it.

A conservative federal judge was murdered that day. If he were carrying, there would be no unfortunate legacy for the Giffords.

Hopefully they’ll forget to turn up in Nov. On the other hand, I wouldn’t put it past nannie bloomers and his minions to provide transportation for them to the polls. To them, if it sounds simple, they’ll vote for it. No further info needed. Then again, there are some that will simply ignore it if passed. Like the cops don’t have other things to do.
