A new gun control campaign is targeting Nevadans.
A group founded by former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, D-Ariz., and her husband, retired astronaut Mark Kelly, is pushing for new laws that would bar people on the terrorist watch list and the no-fly list from purchasing firearms. However, gun rights and civil rights groups continue to raise concerns about due process over those lists.
The group, Americans for Responsible Solutions, said a majority of Nevadans would support a federal law prohibiting people on the FBI’s terrorist watch list or the no-fly list from buying firearms, according to poll results released Tuesday.
Public Policy Polling surveyed 583 Nevada voters from April 15-17 to ask them about closing the “terror gap.” The poll has a margin of error of 4.1 percentage points.

Everyone will be on the terror watch list (especially if you post bad things about the government)
A lot of people in favor of this might be surprised to find out that they are on the no fly list.
Especially if you are a regular poster on FR. :>)
Imagine the look on your face should you be required, for some reason, to fly someplace and you get stopped at the tsa/gropers checkpoint and told, “Nuh uh. You on da list.” Guess you ain’t flyin’.

They key word here is “Poll”. In other words biased results already decided beforehand by skewing questions to get the desired results to fool the gullible and push the agenda.

Mistaken id, arbitrary, capricious, lack of due process. The inaccurate addition to the list is quite possible in a lot of cases. How’d you get on it? Who knows. How do you get off it. Your mom found out and it ain’t easy apparently.
Vast numbers of innocent people with common Anglo-Saxon names are on those watch lists.
And it happens more that we hear.
You piss of a flight attendant, bam, you might be on the list.
You share a name with a bad guy. You might be on the list.

Given the group involved, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the “poll” were little more than a matter of asking around at the office and a few family members.
You won't have to post bad things - communist countries have proven that the purpose of lists is for everyone to be on them.
The special people are the ones who are allowed to get off the lists.

This is one of those 'innocuous' bills that sound good at first blush - but the people who polled in favor did not consider that those in charge of these 'terror watch, no fly lists' can put whomever they want on it.
We already know Christians make the list.
Ex-Military, Conservatives, etc.
Our minders are happy to make this list include everyone who is not a member of the Political Royalty class, and their enforcers.
Lawless illegal invader “immigrants”, thugs of every stripe and a rogue government could potentially kill tens of millions of innocence people via their back-asswards gun control laws.
Gabby Giffords needs to study Stalin, Communist China, present day North Korea and Nazi Germany to see what happens when you take guns from law abiding decent citizens.
Think how many less Jews would've been killed in Concentration camps if they had been armed.

Everyone should check out what the Obama VA and SSA are trying to do to take your firearms. The VA has already caused 100,000 vets to loose their guns and now Social Security has been told to do the same for older people who have someone other than themselves managing their SS disbursements. And usual, the Congress is somewhere in DC fondling themselves or eachother.
