So to all Cruz supporters out there if you lose don’t destroy the party and to trump who I feel at this point probably has the nomination......MEND fences.

Donald Trump can't begin the process of mending fences until Cruz and Kasich stand down on their "NeverTrump" efforts.

So until that happens, don't blame Trump for any delay in beginning that process...

don’t blame trump I am just looking at how nasty it has gotten over the last month and don’t want us to burn everything down. the reality is that tell everything is definitely decided neither trump of Cruz can tone it down. but us as supporters can....of course it is easy for me to say that because I have no real attachments hates or dislikes to either candidate. I will be happy as long as it stays with the front two candidate

If an open convention denies Trump the nomination after he comes in with a clear delegate plurality (or even somehow finagles the rules to deny him if he gets an outright majority), a large chunk of the base will flat-out refuse to vote for the Establishment's candidate and there will be an electoral bloodbath. Depending on how many Trump supporters are too PO'd to bother voting at all the GOP could lose the House, and losing the Senate would be a given.

It's time for the GOPe to suck it up and accept the reality that Trump has already effectively won the nomination.

What would Kasich say if he was leading in delegates? Would he want an open convention? Sounds like his idea of a baseball league is to play the season and the team in last place should have a shot at making the playoffs if the team owners think so.
