Gallup has a new poll out that shows former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (D-IL, AR, NY, DC) is having trouble energizing women in her own party.
But the gender gap persists within both parties. An aggregated analysis of March and April responses shows that Republican men are eight points more likely than Republican women to be following the election very closely, while Democratic men are 11 points more likely than Democratic women. “Pure” independents — those who do not lean to either party — are following the news less closely than those in either party, regardless of gender, as would be expected. But even with overall lower levels of interest, independent men are significantly more likely than independent women to say they are following the news very closely.
Paul Bedard at the Washington Examiner points out a glaring lack of logic in Gallup’s analysis. See if you can pick up on Gallup’s head-scratcher:
Gallup blamed the lack of female candidates for women paying less attention, though that doesn’t explain the low interest among Democrats who are likely to nominate their first woman as the party candidate. What’s more, several groups that support women’s issues, such as Planned Parenthood and Emily’s List have been very public about backing Clinton.
I’m sorry… what was that? “Gallup blamed the lack of female candidates for women paying less attention” to the 2016 race????
What am I missing here. Last I checked, Clinton was not just a woman, but the woman. The first woman with a legitimate shot of winning the White House. The greatest woman to be Secretary of State (heck, the greatest Secretary of State, period) and the greatest woman Senator from New York in the history of the planet Earth.
Clinton’s gender has been front and center from day one in the 2016 cycle and Democrats are suffereng from lack of interest among their female voters?
Conventional wisdom has always held that Clinton will be tough to beat in November because she will mobilize millions of women energized over the prospect of making history and electing the first woman president. After all, her own campaign released an ad featuring little girls writing letters to Hillary claiming that “44 boys is too many.”
If she can’t energize women in her own party with this kind of blatant pandering, how is she supposed to win in November?
They sense that Bernie could very well go third party.
RCP also has a new national Battleground poll that has Hillary and Trump within the margin of error. And that’s before he starts pummeling her. So much for the “only Kasich can beat Hillary” meme.
Hillary is boring, she sure doesn’t fire my wife up. The worst is having to listen to her cackle.
I still see fresh new “I’m Ready For Hillary” bumper stickers but the “Bernie 2016” stickers far outnumber them. You can tell a lot from the ground game. I can’t imagine the pea sized brain needed to put either of these on your car.
I guess if you were to ask them why, the Bernies would say “corporate greed” and the Hillarys would say “women”? That’s about all they could say.
Saw a commercial this morning for Secret Antiperspirant.
A young woman was practicing in front of a mirror. Getting ready to go in and ask her boss for a raise. The Secret was sitting on the sink, to keep her dry for the stressful event. The announcer’s voiceover was “Secret, doing our bit to fight the wage gap.”
THAT’S how the Dems are going to turn out women to win.

I do not know about that though, with the support Bernie is getting, it would not surprise me if he does go third party. Remains to be seen.
Look, hackers are going to hack their way in -- what difference does it make The question is, how much would they pay to save themselves the time? Taking the money always worked for Bill when he had secrets rich foreigners wanted, and we still left the White House flat broke. Who knows where it goes?
I can’t wait for Donald to start hanging out all her dirty laundry for the world to see and be forced to look at and admit to. the msm might just go black-out mode.

Bernie outright says “Free stuff for everyone, no strings attached”, while Hitlerbeast is slightly more subtle about it. Dementocrat harlots, like all Dementocrats, hate subtlety.
She doesn't have to energize anyone. Dhimmicrats don't need to be energized - they'll dutifully pull the lever for whomever they are told.
then why is she still winning in all the polls practically- She could say “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters, okay? It’s, like, incredible,”
It’s sick that she’s even still in the race, yet what’s even sicker is that she’s winning in polls? Women may be dissatisfied with her, but they aren’t abandoning her apparently-
The corruption, lying, excuse making and money grubbing might be factors too.
When a 70 something wild haired socialist can stir up more excitement than Hillary she has a problem. Hillary’s message is the same old tired liberal BS delivered in a shrill raspy style that could put a brick to sleep
