Global warming skeptics should be jailed by the federal government because “this extreme doubt about climate change is affecting my quality of life as a public citizen,” science activist Bill Nye said in a video published Wednesday on YouTube.
“Was it appropriate to jail the guys from Enron?” Nye, former host of the PBS children’s series “The Science Guy,” asked an interviewer from the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, The Daily Caller reports.
Nye’s comments will be featured in an upcoming documentary, “Climate Hustle,” that raises doubts on the issue and will premiere nationally next month, according to the report.
“Was it appropriate to jail people from the cigarette industry who insisted that this addictive product was not addictive and so on?” Nye asked interviewer Marc Morano. “For me as a taxpayer and voter — the introduction of this extreme doubt about climate change is affecting my quality of life as a public citizen.”

TMZ story: Bill Nye the Science Guy is dragging his ex-girlfriend back to court — claiming she forced him to rack up $57,000 in attorney’s fees by acting like a crazy stalker ... and is now refusing to pay the bill.
According to the docs, it all started back in 2006 after the couple broke up — Bill claims his ex Blair Tindall stole several expensive items from his house, including his laptop, which she then used to send defamatory emails impersonating him. Bill claims she also poured herbicide on his rose bushes.
TMZ broke the story back in 2007 ... Bill sought out a protective order as a result — and obtained a 6-year injunction against her a few months later, requiring her to stay 100 yards away from him.
According to the new docs, Tindall violated that order in 2009 — so he went back to court to enforce it ... and racked up a $57,000 legal bill in the process. The court then ordered Blair to cover the damage.
Bill claims she hasn’t forked over a penny since — so now, he’s dragging her back to court to get his money.
Blair tells TMZ ... “Bill Nye was the love of my life. I’m surprised he has taken this action against me. I have no funds to pay him, and he is a very wealthy man, so I’m not sure where this is coming from.”

I used to watch a lot of animal documentaries with my children when they were younger. It seemed the last five minutes always had the obligatory "humans are bad" segment. And that was before the climate change mantra became the rage.

Did anyone happen to mention to Nye or big Al that we live in a free society with individual liberties and the freedom of speech and religion? If I wanted to join the Church of Global Warmism, I would and don't need Nye to force me into it by having me arrested and sentenced to the front row pew right in path of the hot air belching out of his and Fat Poodle's mouths.
Voicing publicly this desire to punish climate change deniers just tells mey that the intelligence is just not there. Hello? Anybody home up there?
