The study estimates that Obama’s global warming plan would increase the costs of living for the poorest American families an additional $19 billion per year, equivalent to increasing their taxes by 166 percent. The tax increase would also raise taxes on other poor families by an extra $25 billion, equal to a 33 percent tax increase. Living costs for the richest households would only increase by 4 percent.
Obama wants to implement the Enviromental Protection Agency’s Clean Power Plan, which would effectively tax four-fifths of American carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and be similar in scope to an economy-wide carbon tax. In addition, Obama has proposed a $10.25-per-barrel oil tax.
Neither plan would have a large impact on global warming. Data modeling created by the EPA and run by the libertarian Cato Institute shows that the Clean Power Plan would only have adverted 0.019° Celsius of warming by the year 2100, an amount so small it couldn’t be detected.
“The greatest tragedy of the Democrats’ climate agenda is not how little it will accomplish but rather how costly it will be for those least able to afford it,” Oren Cass, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute who authored the study, told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Though the study is based on projections of future tax increases, but the average American’s electric bill has gone up 10 percent since Obama took office in January, 2009, due to federal regulations.

American liberals are so stupid. While Americans’ quality of living, birthrate, and livespans are in freefall, they’re implentinting policies that will have no impact on the climate just to appease those that believe the false idea that slight changes in the levels of carbon dioxide is going to kill us all.
Patriots, we need to stop blaming everything on Obama.
More specifically, regarding Obama’s PC global warming plan, the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for environmental issues like global warming.

And by remaining silent on Obama’s PC global warming plan, corrupt Congress is actually letting Obama get away with stealing 10th Amendment-protected state powers, and associated state revenues, to implement his climate plan.
In fact, the Founding States gave the “power of the purse” (1.7.1) uniquely to the House of Representatives (HoR). This means that the HoR uniquely has the power to appropriate taxes. So the corrupt, RINO-controlled House, with the help of the likewise corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Senate, is supporting Obama’s unconstitutional global warming plan by stealing state revenues, by means of unconstitutional federal taxes, to fund this plan.
Federal lawmakers are probably letting Obama get away with stealing state powers and state revenues so that Obama can do Congress’s unpopular, unconstitutional legislative work for it. By letting last-term Obama get away with stealing state powers and revenues, corrupt federal lawmakers are able to keep their voting records clean, probably so that they can continue to fool low-information patriots into reelecting them. (Patriots need to reconsider the 22nd Amendment.)

If patriots elect Trump, Cruz, or whatever conservative they elect, they will also need to elect a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to not only support the president, but also surrender back to the states state powers and state revenues that the corrupt feds have not only been stealing from the states, but are unconstitutionally giving to foreign nations.
In fact, note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
No cost is too high for Obama as long as it will destroy America.

It will cost the poorest more. The cost rises but now the need to raise welfare payments to meet the rise is necessary. Cost of living rises...welfare payments increase...everyone not on welfare pays more to the government...more get on welfare.
Sounds like a good plan to financially enslave more bums in the welfare plantation to me.
