WTF does the house have the Whip position for, then? Do a GD vote so we’ll know who to unseat in the primaries!

‘The Republicans have the majority in the House. He wouldn’t need the Dems at all if his own party wasn’t divided on this.
Not sure what Ryan can do about not having enough Republican support.

Sounds like what you wish him to do is what he did in the Omnibus last year: Get overwhelming Democrat support.

guess that is your solution.

Mine is for him to do his job to get GOP support or to step down and get the hell out of the way for a real leader of the party.

Give me the name of this real leader who could get 218 of the current Republicans to vote for the same budget.

how about Newt Gingrich

So under Newt's leadership who is going to change their position? The Freedom Caucus or the Peter King defense hawks who don't want the military cuts required by the sequester?

No man riding in on a horse is going to change the fundamental divide in the party on budget issues. Especially in an election year.

I see, you have no real solutions, just stirring up a pot.

This country has operated for the past +200 years by passing budgets originated by Congress and acting on them.

There is zero reason why it cannot be done now. (Although you will spit on that argument I know).

Right. And your solution is to have Newt Gingrich ride in and make everything OK.

I can't help but notice that you didn't in any way address the real split in the Republican caucus.

Politics is hard.
