The artist known as Prince has died ... TMZ has learned. He was 57. Prince's body was discovered at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota early Thursday morning. Multiple sources connected to the singer confirmed he had passed.

Yes, it's amazing that a guy who wrote, "I leave other people alone and I expect them to do the same with me" on his Freerepublic-about-me page would spew such vitriol towards a person whom I'm sure never bothered him a bit.

You know, I’m not very familiar with his work. I know of “purple rain”, I’m sure I must have heard some of his songs but....they don’t come to mind.

Interesting I would think his estate goes to his family, brothers and sisters. Many theorized all the thousands of unreleased songs, videos in the vault would be gradually released over the coming decades so Prince music would live forever and he never really “died”. Many Prince fans theorized this anyway.

From the Diamonds and Pearls album and one of my favorites. I saw him on that tour July 1st 1992 in Stuttgart Germany. The best show I have ever seen. I wasn’t that big of a fan of his in the 80s but after that concert I “got it” and was a big fan ever since.
