Cutting pensions in half?
Looks like there would be a step system. No more than 10% for a cut and then wait a year and cut again if necessary.
That’s right. Something seems out of whack when they propose cutting pensions in half. If no changes were made the pension fund would, it is reported, run out of money in 10 years. Less drastic cuts should be able to save the pension fund over the next 10 years.
