Donald Trump says he believes transgender people should be able to use whichever bathroom they choose.

Speaking at a town hall event on NBC's "Today" Thursday, Trump said North Carolina's so-called "bathroom law," which directs transgender people to use the bathroom that matches the gender on their birth certificates, has caused unnecessary strife.

I haven’t read the legislation. But I have a question that some one might know. When they say transgendered, are they referring to people that have changed equiptment, or is the law for people that are just making the claim of being transgender?

The need is not for more legislation. The need is to delete about 99% of what has been enacted since the Great Society was created.

As he feels more and more confident the nomination is his, his inner Democrat will arise. I don’t know if this issue qualifies as a walk back for him as I don’t know what his original position on this was.

But the walk backs are coming . For example he’s walked back on his claim that he will pay off that 19 $20 trillion debt in eight years . Not that anyone believed it was really going to happen but his supporters here claimed to suggest that he won’t was heresy

I may or may not end up voting for him if he is the nominee in November . But I am under no illusion that he’s a conservative that’s going to shrink the size of the federal government and return more power to the states

It would be based on only the fact that what Hillary Clinton did to those brave souls in Benghazi was just an appetizer to what she’ll do to the country

Ted Cruz is the only POTUS candidate since Reagan that my conservative Christian conscience leads me to be “all in” on. I have watched in fascinated horror as “the Boss” went from “all in”... to “they’re both OK”... to “trump is going to win so abandon Cruz”... to actually leading the mob in slandering and maligning one of the few true Christian conservative leaders available today.

I will remain “all in” for Ted Cruz until the end, or until I am “purged”, whichever comes first.

You need to update yourself with a thorough examination of the Cruz Cult '7 Mountains/Dominionist' doctrine, which is NOT Christian, Cruz' daddy has declared that his son is 'annointed by God to rule over our society', and that means that once King Cruz has ascended to the Dominionist Throne, that among his many duties will be to initiate the transfer of the "wealth of the wicked, to the righteous", and that sort of hyper religious hoopla ought to give any REAL Christian the willies.

Ted Cruz is now an integral part of the GOPe, and there is no denying that. You can put on blinders, stick your fingers in your ears and babble the usual "nyah-nyah-nyah-can't hear you" but that is the reality which you must ultimately confront. See my tagline if you need another reminder.

It is a state-level issue, so why would a U.S. Senator introduce legislation? There's no legitimate federal interest.
