Michigan didn't like him, neither did Ohio.

Wisconsin didn't like him, they just did the bidding of their GOP masters.

Agreed. But it a healthy sign of potential in Maryland, especially the Eastern part of the state.

Good news but I'd like to see the polls in a few days after last night. Add 5-10 for Trump on this one!

“Just as you failed to grasp Trump’s strategy of picking a fight with FOX News, ... , it could have big payoffs in states like VA, FL, MI, PA, etc. You win little by little, not in one fell swoop.”

You just made Karl Rove cry. According to him, his stupid strategy that barely worked in 2000, was decent in 2004, and worthless thereafter is the true way forward (if you want to secure second place)!!! :-).

What was the last competitive race? 51/49 Odonnell vs Castle?

Trump gets both groups of voters. O’Donnell made some toothless claim about Trump’s violence. Her supporters , former, will back trump

Social conservatives really have no one to blame but themselves. There was a non-pandering, sincere and serious conservative available but he was written off because he wasn’t in favor of yet another war in the Middle East.

So they went to Cruz instead because he flattered them by telling them what they wanted to hear, going to such an extreme to do it as to make himself odious to all other Republicans.

It speaks to a lack of maturity, foresight, and strategic direction in the movement that the sharply limited nature of Cruz’ appeal being a non-starter for anyone else wasn’t a serious concern for his backers. There was never any electoral majority to be had, in the primary or the general, under that banner. It should have been obvious before the voting even started.

It’s the Charge of the Light Brigade on a political level - a noble suicide, but suicide nonetheless. It’s an announcement that says “we do not want to be part of any successful political coalition”.
