‘You Gotta Stop!’ Hannity Loses His Cool with Ted Cruz Over Delegates
Mediaite ^ | 4/19/16 | Josh Feldman

Posted on 04/19/2016 3:22:36 PM PDT by markomalley

Sean Hannity got a little frustrated with Ted Cruz during a radio interview this afternoon over his campaign’s delegate game.

Cruz said he doesn’t think most people care about this stuff. Hannity shot back by invoking his millions of followers and saying plenty of people “find this whole process confusing.”

When Cruz dismissively said only Donald Trump‘s people are complaining, Hannity kind of blew up:

“Senator, why do you do this? Every single time––no, you gotta stop! Every time I have you on the air and I ask you a legitimate question, you try to throw this in my face, I’m getting sick of it!”

Cruz testily asked, “Sean, can I answer your last question without being interrupted?”

He explained how the system works and how the “noise and complaining and whining” is only coming from Team Trump. Hannity shot back that people have serious issues and “it’s a simple question, it’s not a Trump question.”

(video at link)

At one point, Hannity said, “Senator, I don’t know why you’re mad.” Cruz said he’s not mad, he’s just irked that he’s asking “only about the nonsense” and not about policy.

Hannity insisted he has asked the senator about policy plenty of times and simply wants to address

These rules were put in place to give Jeb the nomination.

Remember Jeb saying something to the effect that he would “lose the primaries and win the nomination”.

The thinking was that Jeb would run as a moderate and win a few primaries here and there but take home most of the delegates. And when Jeb got the nomination, conservatives would be brought around by saying, “you wouldn’t want Hillary in the White House, would you? You better vote for Jeb. “

The problem was that Jeb’s campaign crashed and burn, despite tons of money. So now Cruz is being used to stop Trump and bring a brokered convention. Where Cruz will have no chance of winning. But surprise, I think Jeb could at some certain point be a contender at a open convention.

I know its crazy but I wouldn’t rule anything out at this point.

I agree. Hannity is so transparent with his favoritism for Trump. Hannity long ago dropped his pants, bent over, and reached back with his hands to spread his butt cheeks for Trump. He is SOOOO desperate for ratings-—it’s embarrassing to watch his show now.

Nonsense. Just lat week Hannity allowed Cruz to veer off topic into a LONG hysterical rant about “Trump violence”. This smear was completely unchallenged by Hannity.

Cruz is a sleaze ball through and through. The list of actions where he showed no moral restraint is getting longer. There is no way to justify his efforts to go in and try to install delegates disloyal to Trump in slots Trump won as slots pledged to him.

No matter how anyone spins it, Ted’s using dishonest and underhanded methods to try and thwart the will of the voters. Sometimes it takes a sleaze ball like Cruz to show the public just how corrupt and rigged some of the tactics used by our politicians actually are. - Many voters are getting their first close look at the delegate selection process, thanks to the sleaze ball.

Hopefully, this will cause enough of a stink that voters in many states will force their politicians to make changes.

1. Voters should vote for a candidate and for delegates pledged to that candidate. All delegates should be elected that way.

2. There should be no superdelegates of any sort. Office holders and party officials have no right to automatically have a delegate slot anymore than an individual citizen.

“Gary Johnson, I think. New Mexico. Libertarians don’t exactly have a deep bench.”

Gary Johnson is good - I watched a bit of the Libertarian debate - it was interesting - there where about 20 people in the room..

The only other candidate I recognized was McCafee.. of AV fame.. I thought, wow, I thought he had a coke overdose on his yacht or something..

Anyway was good for about 5 minutes.

Ted is a lawyer. And a truism with them is when the facts are with you, you argue facts. When they aren’t, you argue about people.

Ted argues about people. He knows he’s being sketchy.

Gary Johnson, John McAfee(SP?) the antivirus guy, and some other guy that I don’t know.

The only reason I know that is because late one Friday night I tuned in on John Stossel on the Fox business channel and he was having a Libertarian debate.

Cruz sounded angry and arrogant. He doesn’t want questions about Trump because he wants to talk about policy. Everytime I every hear him speak anymore it’s about Trump. I agree with stories I read about people that have known Cruz in the past and who say he is not likable.

Because Cruz hasn’t changed his conservative values unlike Trump. Cruz wasn’t pro abortion before he was against it. Cruz wasn’t pro sodomite marriage before he was against it. Cruz wasn’t pro Obamacare before he was against it. And on and on and on. Pretty simple really.

There’s no way in the world that Cruz wins the general election. He’s campaigning for Hillary. He knows it.

And you know why he's doing it?

Because Saint Ted probably thinks that Hillary in the White House for 4 years will be like Carter's 4 years, and that he can come riding to the rescue in 2020, "just like Reagan".

If America suffers under more 'RAT treason, so be it as long as Ted gets another shot in 2020. He knows he can't win this year, hell the only way he'll get the nomination is through lies, treachery and deceit.

In the case of the Republican convention, where he may arrive 50 to 100 votes short of the necessary 1,237, his ace will be the 136 unbound delegates. Trump has already identified each one of these 136 free-to-vote-for-whomever-they-please delegates and has begun to woo them.

But but but, I thought the unbound delegates were GOPeee?? You mean they are not?

Or is it when Trump makes a deal with the GOPe, it's a good thing. But when Cruz does it, he's owned.

Gary Johnson is good

No quarrel with Libertarians, except they tend to be squishily-idealistic about foreign affairs. Johnson's a good guy, on balance.

Cruz is an embarrassment. He actually thinks people like him. LOL Votes don’t matter cause old Ted is so smart. Y’all needn’t worry about it.

He is a contemptuous jerk.
