To be expected in an El Nino year.

However, stubborn complicating facts:

1. There are far more trees in North America today than 150 years ago.
2. Corn has replaced prairie for say a million square miles here.
3. Converting to natural gas electric and more efficient cars have reduced USA’s carbon footprint.

So what do we do now?
