The Republican Party "manipulated" Colorado's convention last weekend, which ended with Ted Cruz receiving all of the Centennial State's 34 delegates, former Rep. Tom Tancredo told Newsmax TV on Friday. "It absolutely was," Tancredo, who served on Capitol Hill for a decade beginning in 1999, told "Newsmax Prime" host J.D. Hayworth. He quit the GOP last year and described Cruz as "the real deal" in January.

Run a campaign? You mean lose the entire South after you called it your firewall? You mean coming in third in Florida and Ohio despite having zero negative adds against you? Losing the popular vote by millions? Getting skunked on the east coast? Getting eliminated from reaching 1237? That kind of campaign? So I ask you, who can’t run a campaign?
What specifically did Ted Cruz ever do while in DC?
Do not know.
Has Tancredo finally come to his senses about Lyin Ted and the Lyin GOPee?

All those pony tricks for the rubes back home, and the pick-up rubes along the way, who thought the tricks meant something more than noise. It was all a stepping stone for a presidential run.
He broke their backs riding them so hard, but with that flag in one hand, the Bible in the other and the Constitution between his teeth, it was irresistible and they are suckers every.single.time.
The repubs aren’t the only ones in a mess in colorado. Back in ‘87 I worked in a VERY NICE resort type place waiting tables. There happened to be a democrat meeting there and I heard quite a bit of the conversation between those present at that meeting.
At the time, I wasn’t very well versed in politics at all, so what I was hearing was rather shocking to me, and I wasn’t sure if things meant that they seemed to mean to me. Ultimately, they were trying to affect the outcome of a future election and were drawing voting lines/precinct lines to prevent the voters from having an impact in certain areas...diluting in essence, votes in certain areas so that they would carry less weight.
Now, some might call that strategy, but in essence, it was controlling votes. It was usurping the will of the people.
On the other hand, I remember a time several years later when someone from the Pueblo area was working the polling booths. At the time there were roughly 100,000 people in that city and only 30 people voted! 30 people determined the laws in that city, and all because people didn’t get out there and vote, thinking their vote was meaningless. That was around 1992-4 thereabouts.
Ours is supposed to be a government FOR the people, BY the people and so when some say that the government was designed to lock the people out of having a say...I know it’s wrong. Any one of us should be able to run for office...any office in the land if we meet criteria such as citizenship and age.
I know that our government framers were very concerned about lack of integrity and they did their best to design government to work well. Yet even they knew that without virtue, it would all fail.
We lost sight of virtue..what it is, how to employ it, maintain it, instil it in our kids, because they are the future adults in just a few short years after their births.
If there is one thing that I’m grateful to Donald Trump for, its for exposing fraud and corruption. He might sound like a whiner...I don’t think he does, and those who are aware of that fraud and corruption don’t see him as a whiner either, but liars and manipulators hate him, and mock those who do have eyes to see, rather than examining the system itself to see how it can be made to work better for all.
I didn’t fall off the turnip truck yesterday, and yes, I can still be fooled, but its not an easy thing to do, nor does it last for long. I’ve learned to trust my gut in additon to utilizing experience. There is a difference between a mistake, and sleeze. There is a difference between admitting, , and correcting that mistake, and being simply spineless.
Colorado has been infested with sleeze and those who ARE good decent, and patriot minded are being silenced and shut out.
I left. I will NOT pay taxes there. Over the years I’ve suggested to others that if they don’t like something, and they can’t change it...get rid of it. Move some place that does things more to your liking. Vote with your pencil and ballot, vote with your wallet, vote with your tires..mvote with where you shop and do business. It doesn’t matter if you are the only one doing it. Do it as a matter of principle. Chances are, others feel the same way you do, and sooner or later, it will catch on.
Most people are followers, not leaders, but there’s no reason why you can’t be a leader, even in your own corner of the universe. Do what’s right if for no other reason than the fact that it IS right. At least you and your god will be on the same page, and you can sleep truly well at night.
I follow my own advice, and I take flack for it. That’s ok...time shows me being correct.
My kids used to laugh at “Bunker Mom” for having my house ready to shelter in place, and for having the foresight to keep extras on hand. Time, current events, circumstances havme vindicated me.
Take a stand people. Stand wherever you may be. Stand for something before you fall for anything.
And if you live in Colorado, become active to make things right. Ignore the ABC news...learn the facts for yourself and not through the grapevine. That’s quite a grapevine Colorado has, but don’t depend on it. Go to the source. Make it work. It’s YOUR state, not the government’s territory. Become the leaders.
/soapbox.

And Obama for 8 years is proof that if one can run a campaign, then that one is fittest to run the country......right?
What did little lying Teddy do?
Tee everyone off, read “Green Eggs and Ham” on the Senate floor, pursue a globalist agenda every chance he could.
Build a wall with Teddy? Never happen, he’ll be busy pushing his wife’s North American Union and “Open Borders.”
Bring Industries back home? Not with Teddy’s TPA and TPP votes!
Negotiate better trade deals? Not with Teddy’s lack of interpersonal skills. He’ll be lucky if anyone speaks to him after the first few months.
Tax reform? Teddy can’t get more than a handful of congress critters to form a line for the bathroom at a beer party.
Teddy (bathrobe) Bare has had ample time to get rid of Obamacare.....NO progress....NONE.
For the life of me I can’t understand why anyone would vote for this ineffective Canadian born son of a Castro supporting Cuban!
Sarah Palin bought his line of ^%&#@!!&* to help get him elected. She has seen him for what he is and is now campaigning for TRUMP!
Define "campaign" - convincing more of the People or being able to hob-nob with the GOPe and RNC types.....One guy is popular with the People and the other guy is (suddenly) popular with the GOPe/RNC/MSM, etc...GMA had Ted and Heidi on yesterday and the way they were treated you would think they were a combination of Bill Clinton and Baraaaaaaack! Obama - not an unkind hint...what does it take for a show with George Stephanopoulos to treat a conservative republican that nice?
Amen and pray that all the voter fraud gets exposed and prosecuted.
So, I guess when Trump wins the campaign, that will prove he can run the country.
