The proposed change was agreed to be on the table at the meeting this week. Then denied when the RNC understood the full ramifications. They claim the request failed to meet a deadline (untrue) to be placed on the agenda.

Solomon Yue, (Oregon) a member of the RNC trying to revamp GOP rules for nominating a potus candidate. Yue says that party leaders could exert “almost dictatorial power” at the nominating convention without the rules change (that’s been the norm.) The rules committee meets this week to discuss whether to propose changing bylaws for the GOP convention.

Yue proposed Robert’s Rules of Order to enable delegates (majority vote req’d) to block the convention’s presiding officer (Preibus) from allowing the nomination of fresh candidates (RINOs) for president.

Yue sent an email stating that if the presiding officer is unchecked —> it would lead to “confusion, chaos, manipulation and revolt at the convention.”

Priebus adamantly opposes changing convention rules to protect the system they have in place. We’ll see what happens later this week.

So now you are complaining because they WON’T change the rules? I thought the mantra of the Trumpkins was that it was cheating to change the rules after the process started... Can you make up your minds, please?

It’s not even so much about the rules as is it about the stuff they are pulling with the delegates; wrong numbers on ballot names, same numbers for a ballot name, lack of ballot numbers for delegates who was confirmed, no ballots for a confirmed delegate, a person walking around with extra ballots, a woman who was looking for her ballot for the vote found the woman who had her ballot after the vote.

Replacing all the committee folks with all Cruz folks, gal does her speech, she is for Trump, had most political experience only to be voted down in preference to a 18 yr kid with no experience who was a Cruz voter.

No, you were saying this Roberts Rules change has been tried before, and failed. I was asking if you knew who voted them down before, the Committee itself, or the delegates?

You like it where .0003% pick the nominee? by Romneybots & Bushbots.

D-fendr of the Cheating rigged system.

You applaud voter’s being defrauded of their voice in 2008, 2012 and again in 2016?

You applaud past republican candidates like Rick Santorum, Ron Paul being cheated by party insiders recording the votes or having their delegates HIJACED?

Where ever We the People vote, he has won big.

Voterless victories will always be indefensible.

Northern state polls.

For example thr recent Faux news poll showed Trump at 54%.
Before CO Trump was polling about 48% after Cruz won WI.

You can research yourself.
The truth of these polls showing Cruz dropping like a rock
will start to be proved or disproved tomorrow night in NY.
There is also the possibility that Cruz will come in 3rd in NY.
That is a change from 3 weeks ago.

Don’t go all AWOL on us tomorrow night.
Many of us will be looking for you.

I said they have tried to get that passed before, and it was voted down, probably in the Rules Committee. But I thought Trump supporters opposed making changes to the rules at the last minute to help or hinder a particular candidate.

You should have seen what Maine pulled for Romney to defraud his opponents in 2012. Pure unadulterated fraud. And they have it going on at multiple levels.

Wyoming cut their voting participation down by 55% from 2012.

Santorum won Colorado’s election by 6% in 2012, and they slated the majority of delegates for Romney.

Exactly.

It isn’t the RNC Rules. It’s the fraud, the litmus tests and the suppression against TRUMP supporters serving as delegates.

None of these behaviors are recommended in the RUUUULES.

This crap succeeds because it does NOT appear in the Rules.

People see it, and they get what’s going on. The people foolishly thought they had a democracy that provided for the people’s will to be recognized and accepted in elections for nominees and presidents.

Robert’s Rules of Order works very well.

Why do you like cheating and selections rather than elections.

States with real elections have turnouts reflective of the peoples’ voice regardless of who wins or loses.

States with crappy-caucus-cruz-’wins’ reflect < .01-3% of the vote.

Robert’s Rules of Order works very well.

Not in an environment like the convention, where you could have a single delegate bring things to a halt.

<< I thought Trump supporters opposed making changes to the rules at the last minute to help or hinder a particular candidate. >>

I believe TRUMP and Cruz were said to be opposed to the GOPE floating the idea of ditching the 8 State Temporary Rule that both campaigns had to run on all year, as well as all other candidates also.

The disappearance of that 8 State Rule would advantage all the non-starters and drag alongs who were out of gas, or dropped out.

THERE IS NO RIGGING. The rules were well known to everyone.

All caps make it much more believable.

THERE IS NO RIGGING.

how is it that he has 37 percent of the votes and 45 percent of the delegates?

Because it is rigged.

>>>You applaud voter’s being defrauded

There was a vote in Wyoming. Registered republicans voted for their choice for the nominee. The election wasn’t a secret. Any registered republican voter was allowed to vote.

Trump lost.

Who defrauded him?

Why is Trump lying and calling this a voterless election? Why do his followers repeat whatever he says no matter how false?

Is it required to follow Trump to repeat whatever B.S. he puts out?

Give it up.

Wyoming vote 2200 in 2012

Wyoming vote 930 in 2016

What’s it gonna beat 2020, 400 people?

More folks in the neighborhood Wallymart right now than voted in the Wyoming 2016 Selection. WY party deliberately disenfranchise the voters, to maintain the control for themselves.

Experts who analyze state party rule changes including -Frontloading HQ- predicted this month’s ago.

But it was a “voterless election” wasn’t it?

I thought that was what Trump said and you too. Is that statement wrong?

Again who defrauded Trump in Wyoming?

Maybe.. the voters in Wyoming don’t want Trump:

“In the Western and more conservative parts of the country, Dallek said Trump may not be playing as well to voters because of questions about his personal morality and whether or not he’s truly committed to limited government.”

Real Clear averaging nor any polls they track are showing any dip you mention. In fact RCP is graphing Cruz in an upturn and Trump going flat. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/2016_republican_presidential_nomination-3823.html

Noticed that a poll FNC was pushing a short time ago had only 300+ called. That’s pretty skimpy for NY.

Anyone who lives by any of these polls is too often surprised by actual outcome.

No one I know of thinks Trump is not going to do well in NY. I would be shocked if he didn’t.

Of course I’ll be around Tuesday, I don’t shirk my duty even if its Latrine Duty. I’ll also be here when Trump misses 1237.
