The move ups the political tension between the city and Uber and Lyft. When faced with class-action lawsuits from drivers seeking status as employees, the companies have vigorously maintained that the drivers are independent contractors. [City Treasurer Jose] Cisneros is in essence turning that argument back on them and saying: If that

These are the people who bully and extort the citizens of San Francisco, once a beautiful place:

Two Queers and a Dyke

Charming, huh?

People died in the hundreds of thousands in WWII in the Pacific so this trash could run their game on their descendants.

I spoke with my California gnome a week or so ago as we noted a portion of a business moved out of state. They finally admitted it, “California Sucks” and they knew it was the beginning of more loss of jobs and Breitbart notes of a Blue Jean manufacturer eliminating 500 jobs. The hand writing is on the wall. Massive fail in progress....

Just like their co-conspirators, the disciples of deceit in D.C. have done to the entire country.

Yep.

The problem is, when jobs flow out of Cali, the people that get moved afflict their new community with Cali beliefs.

So many reasons to worry about the once Golden State.

The Cali economy is being torched by uber-high business taxes, foolish spending on (for example) the bullet train (nobody wants to ride this $100B (as in Boondoggle) major con on the peeps, and a regulatory climate that has gone insane. Now there will be the new minimum wage to ensure high unemployment.

Oh, and for good measure, Cali is a sanctuary state, to ensure a nice high crime rate and (IIRC) there is a recent law which lets felons out of prison early.

I don't wish bad things for the state (lots of friends and relatives there.) But I do worry about their, um, financial sustainability.

Not all folks from Calufornia are liberal. It was the state that gave us Reagan after all. Just remember that Fresno is in Cakifornia and I think you approve of Jims beliefs.

Uber hired Plouffy, one of the genius guys who got Obama re-elected. I can’t imagine them having much trouble with liberal local govts.
