The Cruz-bots are trying desperately to connect the word “whine” with Trump every time he opens his mouth.

Yeah - it's nice though, I was getting tired of 'uneducated' and it was hurting my feelings. Whine is a nice one syllable word, and other than the w and h trick, it's pretty easy to spell for an idiot Trump supporter like me.

Those games are nothing but the old party insiders trying to have their way

Cruz showed up and made it happen. Why couldn't Trump?

There ya go again, you’re all offended by Trumps tone and because he’s the only outsider who actually fights back and kicks these politicians asses?

Yeah, right. Trump can't even fight for his own delegates to represent him at the Convention. Trump fight? lol

We both know the answer.

Cruz invested the time and money to build a national organization. He took the time to learn what the delegate selection process is for each state. What infuriates Trump, and I suspect his supporters as well, is he is getting beat at the "art of the deal".

You don’t like to be reminded about Trump’s weak points? We should only have praising articles for him?

This is the glaring difference between Trumpers and those that don’t support him.

We all know the candidates are not perfect and should be scrutinized and questioned. Trumpers do not.

Made what happen?

My initial comment was to ask whether anyone can recall a losing candidate in the past who went to state conventions and tried to scheme and maneuver to have delegates who were actually loyal to a losing candidate, appointed to supposedly be delegates for the winning candidate? Faithless delegates, or double agent delegates.

Did Santorum try that in 2012. Did Huckabee try it in 2008? Can you name anyone who has ever tried so underhanded and dishonest a scheme to try and thwart the will of the people during delegate selection as Ted Cruz is trying to do?

Can anyone name a candidate who has ever tried this before?

Great article!

Trump is out of his league when it gets past marketing.

Lot's of them. Huckabee and McCain did it to Romney in 2008. Romney did it to Santorum in 2012. Paul did it to everyone in 2008 and 2012.

Can you provide any links to stories which discuss that?

Here’s what Limbaugh’s DREADED 100 DAYS of GOPe ATTACKS ON Trump did so far: Trump + 5.8% Cruz - 5.5% mathematically eliminated In NY down BIG in Ca Cruz falling all over.
Trump’s “conservative” enemies are killing Cruz.

Ron Paul Just Won The Iowa Caucuses<

Ron Paul contested for unbound delegates in that example. Irrelevant to the question I asked.

Cruz is going into state delegate selection meetings and attempting to have unfaithful, or double agent delegates assigned to the winner (Trump), individuals who will actually be loyal to Cruz, the loser of the state's primary vote. Cruz is trying to have disloyal bound delegates assigned to Trump.

I conclude that you cannot supply any examples of where that has been done previously.

It is completely relevant. At the RNConvention, Iowa cast 22 votes for Ron Paul, 6 votes for Mitt Romney, and 0 votes for caucus winner, Rick Santorum.

Ah the National Review. How many losers have they bet on this cycle alone?

What insane excuse will they give when Cruz likely comes in third tonight, and repeats it a few more times next week?

Hey he’s the man, he can’t really win anywhere that votes, and he’s finishing last place in the home stretch, but you know he’s got that ground game out in the caucus states....

Cruz has zero shot at the nomination, contested convention or not. Not even the GOPe is dumb enough to let someone who’s claim to fame is a home state win, a win they gave him in WI and wins In caucus states out west... You aren’t going to rally 400-500 delegates to switch their votes to someone who’s only victory east of the Mississippi was Maine.

At this point Cruz is just hoping he can play the spoiler in order to get some reward from the establishment. He knows he can’t win, he’s not that dumb. But if he can stop Trump and let the GOPe put up someone they want at a contested convention he’ll get something in return that was negotiated in some back room deal.

Business as usual inside the beltway and they wonder why Trump is racking up the wins...

You have totally failed to address the question I posed and that you chose to respond to. You failed to name any previous loser candidate who, like Cruz, went to state delegate selection meetings and tried to have disloyal delegates appointed to represent Trump, the winner of the delegates by the vote of the people.
