This morning I woke up to an email from my campaign finance director. The email wasn't good news.
I've gotten emails like this before, but let me tell you: this time is different. Our mid-month fundraising report is due in just two days, and we're more than $300,000 short of funding our campaign.
As you know, having the resources necessary to compete is a big factor in running a campaign for president. We've already seen so many candidates who fell short leave this race.
Our campaign is literally running out of money, and to keep campaigning -- taking on Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and the Washington Cartel -- I need your help.

That’s the truth! I’m getting phone calls too and I’ve tried everything for months to unsubscribe. What does it take? It borders on harassment but, since I’m a Republican, there’s not much to do. It’s just another similarity between the Cruz campaign and televangelists. Once they get your number they never stop.
This is priceless. It’s just like I feel! LOL!
I’ve really lucked out so far - not sure if it’s b/c I just set up a new email account last Sept.
I’ve read numerous posts on FR where people are getting 3-4 solicitation email per day from his campaign. People have tried to unsubscribe and keep getting email.
There may be different laws for campaigns that I’m not aware of (don’t think so, but not sure), but I know that privacy laws state that a recipient has to have thee ability to unsubscribe from receiving marketing type email and if the person asks not to receive email via the unsubscribe link which is supposed to be included in each such email, there can be issues (fines, etc.). A company could get in trouble for continuing to send email to various persons when such persons have requested not to receive them.

Cruz as a lifetime govt employee / politician spends other peoples money like there is no tomorrow.
Trump, a lifetime private entrepreneur knows the value of money and how to spend it (or not) properly.
With the amount of emails these idiots send begging for money, they must be pissing away money left and right.
Meanwhile, Trump is running a frugal campaign and is still the undisputed front runner....

Health and sleep are limited: Fighting morning and night for the future of our country ensures long nights and early mornings resulting in little to no sleep.
Personal time is not possible: You think of this the least, but as a candidate, my days are no longer my own. Days start before dawn and many times don’t end until early the next morning. There is almost no personal time when you run for president.
