We’re not talking about how the states are selecting their candidate...we’re talking about how the state parties are selecting their candidate. It’s got nothing to do with the Feds.

Because there is no hive-mind "GOP". It is a party, which means a collections of individuals and groups who often don't agree with each other on a whole bunch of things. How does helping Democratic Senate candidates do anything good for anyone who cares about the country?

If Trump wants to call out specific members of the "NeverTrump" movement for being in that movement, I have no problem with that, although I still think that is a stupid move tactically.

My objection is that his broadside smear of "the Republican Party" -- which is exactly how he has phrased it -- punishes a whole bunch of people who had nothing to do with what he is mad about.

His mouth runs away with his emotions, and his brain apparently is insufficiently disciplined to keep it in check.

I’ve read your post several times but can find no loigic or reason to your argument.

Again, you don’t know what the hell you are talking about. The rules were made up as the gopE saw fit in the last few months and the voters were not informed. Not that it would have mattered anyway because the rules were made so the gopE had full control over who would be the delegates.

But it’s whiney snowflake’s job to learn the rules. It seems whiney snowflake always cries when he loses. Whiney Snowflake always complains of some malfeasance when he loses

Maybe whiney snowflake should start demanding safe places

bwaaaaaaaaaaaa, we lost by those steekin rules

I keep hearing this nonses about whining and crying coming from Colorado Trump supporters. Please, make no mistake. If you were here, you would quickly realize that any noise you hear is simply the cleaning and oiling of our tools of democracy, and the sound of thousands of home reloading stands in full production.

Exactly -- I am utterly sick to death of the completely bogus argument that "Republicans are just as bad as Democrats". I've probably argued that point in here with 20 people, and every single one of them follows the same pattern: They'll list all the things Republicans did that they didn't like, but stick their fingers in their ears and refuse to acknowledge other things the GOP did that were much, much better than we would have gotten had Democrats bene in charge.

Claiming that two things are the same, while looking only at the similarities but refusing to even discuss the differences, is simply emotion-driven delusion.

I know that, but it’s a way of thinking. That each state should be uniform. It’s why I can’t stand common core.

I think each state party should figure out how to pick their candidate. Eah state is unique.

Puleeeeze, The Republican Party is corrupted right down to the town committee member level, I know. Oh, so is the Dem Party. Time to hit reset and throw the bums and patronage hacks out.

I agree, Trump knew what was going to happen in CO and he came up with a plan to ‘win’ in the long run. He has made it more difficult for the GOPe in Cleveland to pull something. In addition, the short term gain is Cruz loses votes and Trump gains more solid support. In addition, Sanders supporters see the unfairness of the Democrat process and in the general, some will side with Trump over Hillary because they see the same unfairness happening to Trump. There are times when giving them more rope is a good strategy.

[kind of like in Florida where Trump gets 45% of the vote, but 100% of the delegates]

Wow, you Cruzers are really pushing this Florida talking point hard. It’s all over the media. Must be freshly generated from the GOPe.

Yup. Expected as much from someone who supports whiney snowflake

Again, why is it that whiney snowflake always cries like a little bitch whenever he loses?

Perhaps you can demand your own safe place also just like whiney snowflake does

I don't support Trump for the nomination. I do support him if he's the nominee.

But wholly apart from that, not all of us are driven only by our biases. Some of us just like to discuss stuff, and can admire good tactics and condemn poor ones, regardless of how we feel about the individual candidate.

Honest question -- do you think Trump saying that the Republican Party is a bunch of cheaters and liars will help him get to 1237, and will help him get the support of other Republicans if he is the nominee?

Well, if Trump thinks as you do, then I hope the GOP lies, cheats, and steals as necessary to keep him from getting the nomination. Because if you destroy the Republican Party, that will leave one party in charge of everything. You guys who splinter if everything doesn't go your well will never be able to get sufficiently united to stop them.

The GOP deserve to lose their seats they have done NOTHING to move our issues forward, give us the house and the senate and we will get rid of OBAMMIECARE ...... We have been BEGGING them to defund ANYTHING these BASTARDS can’t even DEFUND sanctuary cities or PP for Gods sake!!! GIVE ME A BREAK about Trump not building up the party they are USELESS corrupt BASTARDS!!!

You're one of those people I've discussed this with before. Are you willing to address specific occasions where the Republicans in Congress have been much better than Democrats, or will you just run away and cover your retreat with a bunch of exclamation point?

I'm more than willing to get specific, and listen to your response on those issues.
