Trump’s idea of campaigning is get on a plane and have a rally where the media clamber to video and stream. Trump doesn’t pay a dime for the free publicity. He finishes his rally climbs on his plane and leaves.
He has NOT done the ground game. If he now calls his opponent a stealing lying fool, it will not work. The Republican Party in each state make the rules and these rules are well known to those who are active in the party.
He didn’t do his homework, or his advisers are inept.
The fact that his 2 children did not register as Republicans to vote for their Dad tells me that they are all playing at this, “running for President” thing!
Cruz has played this brilliantly whether they like it or not. Just don’t know that it will give him the win, but one thing is for certain, he wants this and is willing to do the work.
I’m convinced he did not intend for this thing to get to this point. I’m convinced his goal was to knock Jeb out because he and the Bush family hate each other. He knocked Jeb out and we’re all glad about it. Now he can’t figure out how to unwind this thing without looking bad. And, he thinks it’s pretty cool to act like a rock star.
