The former head of Britain’s Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), Trevor Phillips, has admitted he “got almost everything wrong” regarding immigration in a new report, claiming Muslims are creating “nations within nations” in the West.
Phillips says followers of Islam hold very different values from the rest of society and many want to lead separate lives.
He says schools may have to consider a 50 per cent limit on Muslim, or other minority pupils, to encourage social integration.
And he says disturbing survey findings point to a growing chasm between the attitudes of many British Muslims and their compatriots.
Phillips’ intervention comes after he was asked to analyse the findings of a major survey on Muslim attitudes in the U.K., which will form the basis of Channel 4’s documentary, What British Muslims Really Think, which is due to air on Wednesday night.
An ICM poll released to the Times, in Britain, ahead of the broadcast reveals:
• One in five Muslims in Britain never enter a non-Muslim house
• 39 per cent of Muslims, male and female, say a woman should always obey her husband
• 31 per cent of British Muslims support the right of a man to have more than one wife
• 52 per cent of Muslims did not believe that homosexuality should be legal
• 23 per cent of Muslims support the introduction of Sharia law rather than the laws laid down by parliament
The documentary will portray the U.K.’s Muslims as a “nation within a nation” that has its own geography and values.
The former head of the U.K.’s equalities watchdog also advocates the monitoring of ethnic minority populations on housing estates to stop them becoming “ghetto villages.”

Someone needs to tell that idiot that there is not a growing chasm. What's growing is his awareness of the chasm. It's a chasm that's always been there and will always be there, and with any luck sensible Brits are not going to wait before remedying the situation while he catches up.

If the British weren't successful in socially integrating the American colonists who were clamoring for liberty back over 220 years ago, why would the British now think they're going to be any more successful today in socially integrating an alien tribal culture of religious zealots with whom they don't even share common ground on basic ideology?
George Washington was a hell of a lot closer in spirit and mindset to the Englishmen he ultimately won a bloody gunfight against than even the most appealing Muslim immigrant to the UK presently is.
Honestly now, Britain: How about asking the Americans how we think your plans are going to work out for you. Aren't we like YOUR subject matter experts on this topic, for crying out loud?

Lefties and atheists (mostly the same thing) have a unique ability to live in, and actually thrive in their cognitive dissonance. They are able to ignore such dissonance. It is with good reason that many consider liberalism to be a mental disorde.
The religious component is also the most vulnerable.
We need to formally define a religion as excluding harm for non-believers. Organizations which do not exclude harm for non-believers need to be denied legal religious status, and declared terrorist organizations on that basis alone.
This WILL happen to Islam under American law, based on observation of the ever escalating Islamic terrorism violence. But unfortunately, liberals are going to demand thousands or even millions of American deaths before it happens.
