Did Brennan convert to Islam before or after he was appointed to head the CIA?

That’s fine. Trump would not be keeping the current CIA hierarchy around anyway.

I know a lot a people do not want to hear it, but this is probably the sentiment up and down the CIA, and for good reason. Nobody at the CIA wants to be left holding the bag again. Last time they found out that the American people did not have their back in this regard. After our phony displays of patriotism after 9/11, the American people quickly returned to form. At first we said go get them, but quickly made at 180 and savaged the intelligence agents and military personal who were doing what was necessary. I do not blame them now, if I was in their shoes, I would not stick my neck out again either. They do not trust us, the American people, for good reason. You would have to be stupid to risk your career knowing a knife is waiting for your back, courtesy of the American public. As they same fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

He should be investigated for making Stanley Ann Dunham’s immigration and passport records disappear...

"I would not agree to having any CIA officer carrying out waterboarding again," he said.

Running that through the Google government talk to English translator yields:

"The next time we want to waterboard somebody we'll have a private contractor or a foreign national do the job for us. Our guy will just stand there and take notes."

He doesn’t have to agree. He’s free to choose retirement.

Exactly. We capture some future terrorist with exact information on an impending terrorist attack that could kill hundreds and thousands and, in a fit of PC correctness, we don’t water board him, resulting in all those deaths. Any President that would allow that to happen deserves to be impeached.

It sounds like this quisling needs to be waterboarded without prejudice.

He might not have to make that decision if the new Commander in Chief kicks his muzzy butt out.

Sounds like we’re going to need a new CIA “director”. Brennan sounds as though he isn’t up for the job. I’ve never heard a Taliban, Al Qaeda or ISIS director say no more beheading.

I have long thought that waterboarding is just silly. The US used waterboarding on Muslim Moro Pirates during the Philippine Insurrection (1899-1902). What other technologies from that time are still in use?

That is, we have hundreds of psychoactive drugs, some of which would make interrogation easy and quick. Heck, sodium pentathol was all the rage in World War II, and today it’s seen as downright antique.

And that is just drugs. We have a vast assortment of tools to do the job. A veritable machine shop full of tools. So why insist on using a claw hammer to turn screws?

I kind of agree. Not that I think we should be nice to terrorists but simply because in this day and age I think there are probably better and more efficient alternatives to get info.
