“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

Psalm 127:3
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Just when you thought this election could not get any better it just continues to surprise. We have a nation yearning to become more Conservative and we have a Conservatocracy which will not allow it. Apparently to the High Priests of Conservatism you can only be their type of Right. That would be fine if there were actually rules and doxology to follow, yet when it comes to conservatism individuality has always ruled the day.

We have never seen the Presidential numbers or enthusiasm towards the American way of life until this year. We are witnessing the culmination of the Tea Party movement although there are two distinct factions divided between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz represents a more traditional brand of conservatism which is heavy on dialogue and relates less to the mainstream. Trump is more of a new interpretation which relates more to the average American.

Cruz is a narrower brand of intellect which is a more academic variety. It appeals to those who would rather debate and articulate their philosophy rather than appeal to the broad masses. Cruz appeals to the more wonkish politician or pundit. These are the people who spend their every waking moment discussing how the District of Corruption should work and what would make it work better. They make healthy livings discussing with each other why their plans would work better than the ones which have never worked in the past hundred years.

Most of the Conservative Punditocracy are secularists trying to explain why Christians think the way they do. Pundits like Georgie Will, Kraut, Cupp, Lowrey, Levin, Beck and the rest are atheists who want you to believe they are genuine Conservatives. They want you to believe they can relate to you even though they basically laugh at your spirituality. This is why they do not understand how Cruz does not relate to fundamental Christians. They do not like someone who hides behind the Bible to parse phrases and manipulate rules. What they do not understand is Conservativism is based on Christianity and without it you will never have it, you will only have bigger gummit.

These atheists try to mitigate the damage issues like abortion and homosexual marriage will cost the Party if they were ever truly discussed. What would happen if the issue of homosexuality was exposed for the health danger it actually is. What if they explained that the levels of depression, drug, alcohol and sexual addictions multiply dramatically? What if those same issues were reveled about abortion rather than the sterile secular arguments the atheists want to discuss. What if they were forced to accept the Bible was written to protect man from his own flesh sin?

Today’s pundits want to discuss everything in nice clean little boxes. They want to debate the issues rather than get in there and blow them up. They want to hear themselves talk about social and spiritual issues secularly since they do not want to talk about souls, spirits and God versus Satan. These people do not believe any of that exists since it messes up their clean little world.

What Trump has done to destroy all of this is he has taken Conservatism Main Street. The pundits want to talk about abortion on Constitutional grounds as a States’ rights issue. They would rather the issue was argued in the Courtroom rather than the Court of public opinion. They are more concerned with the number of women voting for abortion than the number of babies killed. When it really comes down to abortion they would rather the issue never existed and will accept the deaths of these babies rather than get their hands dirty.

Trump in five minutes did more towards making abortion understandable than all of the Pro-lifers did in the last twenty years. When he said women should be punished he made average Americans understand what this issue is all about. He said that abortion should be outlawed which it should. Our Country can never be great or free as long as babies are being killed needlessly. We have justified the killing of human beings for convenience. What would be different than saying all blacks should be killed because killing them is better than living in poverty.

When he said women should be punished he broke all of the rules. Nobody is supposed to ay that or women will never vote for Republican candidates. What he said in that brief statement was that women are doing something wrong. In our secular world there is no right or wrong there are only laws made by man. He inferred that there is something more important than man’s laws and inferred morality. This blew the world up on both sides since to agree with this would require real discussion of the killing of babies and why is that wrong.

This is what happens when a novice enters into the halls of Conservatism. He did not know the doxology of years of tired phraseology and just said what made logical sense. If abortion is wrong and there are laws put on the books to stop it then those breaking those laws should be punished. If it is outlawed the man should be punished also and perhaps could lower the numbers of abortions in the first place or increase the number of men in households. This is very messy thinking and nowhere the pundit class in either Party wants to go since the average American understands just like the wall is concrete.

This is the first time in thirty years we have had Conservatism explained so all of America can understand. It may not be pure or rehearsed for an entire life of regurgitation, but it contains all of the tenets of the belief. The pro-life strategy is so old and tired we are accepting the dismemberment of babies before birth and the selling of their body parts. If that is our definition of winning or even influencing the battle we are sadly fooling ourselves. It is time to actually fight the battle and getting behind a marketing genius may be better than having a bunch of atheists surrendering that battle in their name of victory.

Pray America wakes

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

These pricks like SE Cupp, Allahpundit, Noah Rothman, etc. are computer nerds who saw there was a greater potential if they operated out of the Republican Party (specifically claiming to be conservatives appealing to young people), than the Democrat party which already has lots of young operatives.

The irony is almost 70 year old Jock Trump appeals to young people more than these nerds and pretty much everyone in the GOP.

Just so good it had to be repeated, great job.

.............

Trump is running around 52% in New York.If he gets over 50% he gets all the delegates that Dirty Teddy can't steal. Here's is what Rince Preebish had to say:

According to a gal on facebook--Kim Goodwin, who claims she stood within five feet of Rence Priebus, she claims she heard him say the following: use the Diebold program in New York to keep Trump under 50%.

Morning AB, all.

Let us begin by thanking AB for doing this thread with purpose and wise oversight.

We thank Bray for his weekly wisdom and I thank yon commenters for wisdom in the form of wise and funny commentary.

The weather here in the swamps is awful but then we all know that, right?

The big news of the week here in my kind of smallish life is that our Pastor, Father Flowers, FIRED our Choir Director.

Now this would probably mean nothing to yon readers except I have posted this guy’s pic on this thread in the context of our new choir loft and brand new organ.

Todd is a nice guy but friends, it was time for him to go. Over the years, and on THIS thread, I have posted the stories of Todd, the deaf homosexual leading our choir although he was not very good at leading the choir at all.

He was, and still is, a very good organ player but for ten years my choir has saved Todd so many times, to include once us all donating to a fund to support him when he was put on leave by our FORMER Pastor for having the cops come to church to haul his butt away DURING MASS!

We griped and complained during Todd’s tenure but for the most part….well hey, we are volunteers, amateurs, we are not employees of the church. As much as we were exasperated we stood by Todd just because we all didn’t quit en masse.

Father Jim hated Todd and that situation didn’t help. Scuttlebutt is that Father Jim couldn’t find another music guy here in the swamps so he kept Todd on.

Father Tom, heh, well I don’t blame him at all. First, Father Tom is a singer, second, to my surprise, he writes music-we will be singing a song he wrote this morning at the ten am mass taking me away from this thread for a bit. As I see it, Rev. Thomas Flowers has been at my church for almost a year now and he gave Todd every chance in the book, to include a brand new organ.

The choir, for the most part, is shrugging, silently relieved. It’s time for Todd to go.

Now here’s another item of muse and more germane as I know such as choir directors getting fired is not the stuff of national interest.

I AM A DELEGATE TO THE REPUBLICAN CONVENTION!!!

Heh.

I have no idea, none whatsoever, how this works.

On the 29th and 30th of this month I will be attending the Delaware state Republican convention. Heh. I am a delegate.

Oh yeah….this political junkee is going to hobnob and blog and hobnob some more. Even going to the big dinner on Saturday night.

The Sussex county GOP asked me to attend and again, I have no idea what to do and what it’s all about. This is NOT the convention in Cleveland although, ahem, some of us are also going to that and I bet I could if I lobbied for it.

Anyway…..good experience for me. It’s only right down the street from me, by coincidence, town called Dewey Beach.

So keep the thread going while I sing and this delegate shall return with more scoop.

Maybe this is the program that Priebus is talking about. It seems it's pretty widespread.

http://crooksandliars.com/2008/08/23/oh-voting-machines-contain-critical-vote-dropping-glitch

A voting system used in 34 states contains a critical programming error that can cause votes to be dropped while being electronically transferred from memory cards to a central tallying point, the manufacturer acknowledges.

The problem was identified after complaints from Ohio elections officials following the March primary there, but the logic error that is the root of the problem has been part of the software for 10 years, said Chris Riggall, a spokesman for Premier Election Solutions, formerly known as Diebold.

The flawed software is on both touch screen and optical scan voting machines made by Premier [formerly known as Diebold] and the problem with vote counts is most likely to affect larger jurisdictions that feed many memory cards to a central counting database rapidly.

It never ceases to amaze me that eight years after the whole Florida debacle, and four years since the shady Ohio vote count, that virtually nothing has been done to fix all these voting "irregularities." It's really inexcusable.

For an idea of how easily these electronic machines are hacked, see HBO's Hacking Democracy.

Seems there is no rush to fix the problem.....

RG...is Dirty Teddy Ted Cruz?

Because, heh, that’s who I am going to vote for.

Again, I will be okay if Trump gets the nod but of the two, I’m with Cruz.

Heh....it’s a smile.

I put that phrase “deaf homosexual” like that to reduce it to the lowest level because it’s the truth.

Here near where I live, one of the largest homosexual communities is within ten miles...Rehoboth Beach, you might have heard of it. David Brooks lives in Rehoboth Beach.

St. Jude the Apostle, my church, has many parishioners from Rehoboth Beach but for the most part they are well-educated, wealthy couple-types living peaceful lives and here in Sussex county.....WELL THEY’RE OUR HOMOSEXUALS and while we’re the crude and rude people who elected Christine O’Donnell....we get along fine.

But let’s get real a little bit....Father Flowers is busy re-shaping that music ministry to include new music groups and did I mention his own music? The parishioners of our church really would like a children’s choir and there’s a hesitancy due to Todd’s sexual preference. Not that Todd ever did a thing to anyone and if you saw Todd you’d probably not know his proclivity. More than anything, Todd plays that organ beautifully. He does not do a great job of directing the choir and there’s all kinds of problems with his interpersonal skills.

If I was Father Tom I’d have done the same thing.

And Todd has major health problems as well.

Not to worry, on some level the choir will take care of Todd. He’s been our guy for ten years and come on, how can you have a choir director THAT’S DEAF???

Heh.

Although Dancing with the Stars has a dancer who is deaf so go figger.
