Apparently. But he also worked the 76 campaign and knows how a contested convention goes down.

What do you have against mobsters? They are people too. :>)

And they’ll make a deal you can’t refuse.

I know. He must have been a kid then. But that was followed by both Bushes. I thought we hated Bushes.

Trump finally decided to hire someone smarter than he is.

Good move, but odd how the trumpers are applauding the hire of a GOPe guy with ties to Russian mobsters.

But, okay then.

"This is an example of Donald Trump managing, and the type of leadership he will bring to the presidency in November,"

Not to be a nit-picker, but the next presidential term doesn't start until January. But, if he can start making an impact as president-elect, it would be much better than what we have!

I’m a Trump supporter by this sentence made me cringe:

“This is an example of Donald Trump managing, and the type of leadership he will bring to the presidency in November,”

The election is in November. Trump won’t be president until Jan 2017. Ugh.

We are applauding the hiring of a Ronald Reagan worker.

Once it is reported Trump got his 1237, that is it. If someone starts to buy people off to switch all hell breaks loose.
Should be a great time.

Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bob Dole, and George W. Bush

That’s 4 campaigns not Bush

3 campaigns with a Bush.

MOSTLY, he’s worked REPUBLICAN campaigns.

But the reason for this hire is his experience with the Ford/Reagan/Bush era contested convention formats.

The rules are the same for every candidate.

No they aren't.

Doughty, Trump initially defended Corey but was probably secretly furious because the incident ... whatever you believe about it ... took all the air out of the room for a week.

Corey’s duties have been relegated to the back bench for a while now. Even Trump realized he couldn’t cut it.

That’s why Trump had to seek help among the establishment.

Trump should have disavowed the snake, Roger Stone, a long time ago, but he kinda likes that sort of thing.

That’s right, and some of us, namely me, actually consider a few mobster friends in foreign nations, a resume enhancer.

Not sure throwing him under the bus is the best thing to do.

He's not throwing Lewandoski under the bus.

It's like being in a firefight and being in charge of the front line forces. Calling in an artillery strike is not throwing the front line commander under the bus.

You might have been able to do that if Trump hadn’t been so vain he thought he needed nothing but himself.

That worked for a while.

And if Trump manages to pry away some of Cruz’s original votes will you be okay with that, or will it be stealing?

There will be a body count on this issue, before it is over.

The GOPe will not go quietly into the night...

And their mouth breathers keep saying things like “There will be no President Trump” kind of stuff... that is clearly a THREAT being issued against his life and family.

some of the Donald’s friends in New York, need to help these individuals more sensitive to their concerns... if the Secret Service refuses to do their job.

Trump will not be president in any known universe.

Ever.

Trump now brings on Stone’s partner in professional political consulting and lobbying.

Trump is getting played big time by the DC professional parasite class.

I don’t know, you’d have to ask Cruz about that, seems he is doing quite well at it...
