A newly released international study debunks climate models on global warming that forecast extreme rainfall and drought tied to temperature swings, casting doubt on disaster scenarios promoted by the climate-change movement. The study in the journal Nature published Thursday examining Northern Hemisphere rainfall data going back 1,200 years found that today’s climate models were frequently wrong on predicting extreme rain and drought. In the 20th century, for example, higher-than-average temperatures failed to produce wet-dry extremes, which contradicts the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s consensus that global warming will make dry areas drier and wet areas wetter. It is supposed to snow in the DC metro area this weekend after having a record-setting high last week (80-85*F).
How much I don’t know but it is going to be fun watching and listening to “meteorologists” (guys who study meteors?) make fools of themselves, again.
Meanwhile Al Gore’s fat ass is no where to be seen, unless that Humpback whale sighting last week in the Baja peninsula region was actual this con-artist blowing it out of his hole.
Heck, Jim Cantore can’t even tell me what the weather’s gonna be in four hours...at least correctly.
All of those right-wing republican deniers can’t just go back and “unsettle” the “settled” science of global warming. When something has been “settled”, there can be no future arguments against that truth, even if there might be some new facts that would put the science in doubt. Besides, 97% of scientists agree that global warming is real. The 3% that don’t agree are just liars and deniers. Global Warming science is perfect and undeniable. Ask Obama about how that works.
They were accurate to two decimal places with regard to how much grant money was spent. It’s something.
My DH and I took a course in weather forecasting some years ago. I finally decided that what the forecasters do best is explaining exactly what and how a weather pattern happened -— after the fact!!

And just for the record- climates always change FIRST- then 800-1200 years later, CO2 rises- As proven by ice core samples- so obviously CO2 can’t be the vehicle through which climate change occurs-
So AlGore was lying after all this time.
