The friendly reception Ted Cruz got in Wisconsin – where he was boosted by the state’s governor and its influential conservative talk show hosts – must seem like ages ago as the Texas senator faces a very different scene in New York.
Cruz ran into a decidedly more hostile reception as soon as he started campaigning in the state ahead of the April 19 primary. He was greeted by shouting protesters Wednesday in the Bronx telling him to “get out,” and reportedly saw an event at a high school canceled after students wrote a letter to their principal threatening to walk out if Cruz showed up.
"Ted Cruz has no business being in the Bronx, this is an immigrant community,” one protester shouted.
Fewer than a hundred people showed up for a Cruz meet-and-greet at a local restaurant in the Bronx – and front-runner Donald Trump, who got thumped by Cruz in Wisconsin, was more than happy to play up Cruz’s political problems with New Yorkers.
While Trump, too, faced protesters, he attracted a crowd of thousands for the first rally of his New York campaign swing. He used the occasion to hammer Cruz over past comments mocking “New York values” -- which may be coming back to haunt the Texas senator as he tries to catch up to Trump in the delegate count.
Trump, to cheering supporters, recalled how Cruz knocked “New York values” as if “we’re no good.” He also recalled how, at one debate where the issue came up, Trump described the bravery of New Yorkers on 9/11.

I mean, it’s New York. I just spent the day in a meeting with some New Yorkers. They are...different.
I saw the illegal alien “New Yawkers” giving him hell on FOX. They’re some brave SOBs when they have the race card to play. They never had that in the sewer they crawled out of.

Cruz is now mainstream GOPe.
Everyone supporting him at this point, is in bed with the GOPe.
They are for offshoring ever more of America’s once-fabulous manufacturing base. Importing ever more foreigners, fighting ever more wars, ever more foreign debt, and in every single way these people are NOT what I want from a political party.
The only reason I have not given up and joined the democrats is, they are far, far worse even, that the GOPe.
Trump is the ONLY GUY OUT THERE who gets it.
Everyone is fighting against him. His party is against him. Democrats are against him. Media is against him. But he is 100% RIGHT ABOUT THINGS.
Trump is right. About everything. (well maybe not about one issue - eminent domain) but otherwise he is completely right about every single issue.
Cruz is just an egotistical dude. I won’t say he is evil, because he might just be doing everything now, because of his ego. But he is WRONG and needs to stand down.
Go Trump.
Cruz’s point in reminding, ALL the other 49 States know exactly what he means about “New York values”, or rather lack thereof - and we don’t forget! Trump is playing right into reminding ALL the rest of America that he represents New York Values.

This is going to be interesting. The GOP treasonists want another Democrap operative as the nominee so he can purposely lose to Democraps, while at the same time the people support Trump and Cruz.
It seems to me the GOP treasonists have set themselves up quite well and they probably will get want they want. The GOP treasonists ultimate goal is to have Hillary as the next POTUS so they can continue to sell out the country and line their pockets. If they nominate Eddie Munster, he will obviously lose. The Trump/Cruz supporters will rebel and not support Munster so in the end the GOP treasonists still get what they were after: HIllary as POTUS.
So, how do you compare California values to NY? Oregon? How about the state of Washington? Let us know.
Cruz has been insufferable over the last two weeks, and it’s nice to see him run into the buzz saw which is New York.
Why shouldn’t he after all the made up from thin air crap Cruz says every time he opens his mouth about Trump. Ten percent of Americans say they’d vote Cruz with no hope of getting more. And he lied his rear end off to get ten percent.
Oh yeah, Cruz cleaned up in the South with that New York values comment.
