Well that’s an easy bet because Cruz will not be President under any circumstances. If the sex scandal doesn’t kill his chances, the DNC wil file a legal challenge to his eligibility and all it takes is one federal court judge willing to say that it has merit. I’ve read that they have dozens of judges already lined up.
Cruz is just being used as the most convenient wrecking bar with which the GOPe can tear down their greatest fear - Trump. Once Trump is brought low, they’ll turn on Cruz too.
First of all, last night changed nothing. The amount of delegates involved pale in comparison to what has already happened and what’s coming up in the near future.
That being said, I’ll vote for anyone other than Cruz or Kasick at this point. If Donald gets thrown out with the most votes then these two who have run inept campaigns deserve the same. They wanted to play stalking horse for this very purpose so let them now be on their way.
Doubly so for selling their souls to the devil and propping up the establishment that will cut them all off at the knees.
I remember when Paul Ryan was “the man” on this site to back as a Presidential nominee and also Rick Santorum, what happened? Did they lose their gravitas? LOL, the GOPe wants to run another Lazio against Hillary? Maybe that Fox guy Watters(?) should ask people on the street who is running in the Republican race just to see if they can name Cruz or Kasich.
And I’m more likely to stay home on election day if he is the
nominee.
Cruz doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell... If Trump GETS the number there’s a good chance the “Rove’s of the Party” will knock him out.
The Establishment crooks want the gravy train to keep rolling...

But theres another possibility, too one that induces salivation among the GOPs old guard of powerbrokers. Cruz, by some unparalleled turning of the tables, has his second-ballot nomination taken away, and party mandarins manage to install John Kasich or Paul Ryan or Rick Perry as their nominee. If rules must be rewritten, so be it. If the will of the voters must be overlooked, so what. Just get one of our guys at the top of the ticket. The end justifies the means, right?
Walker more likely than Ryan.
Really? You’re going to take MSNBC’s word for it?
Trojan Ted is keeping the dream alive of the establishment..
Horrid choice.
However, I AM becoming more and more convinced it will be neither Trump nor Cruz.
That will be the quickest way to a third party.
Against Ryan, Hillary could get elected from a jail cell.
Rove would cream in his pants he’d be so happy.
