An editor's job is never done and good editing was needed here to express the author's take at the outset.

Despite her glowing for Ryan title, eventually she writes:...sought to frame the GOP Civil War of voters versus donors and donor proxies as a battle waged over ...[the] candidates’ “tone” rather than the substantive policy divisions between the electorate and the Party’s corporate funders.

From this once concludes that the author is seriously anti-Ryan and the whole movement. A better title would have kept this article from starting off sounding as though she is saying thank God for our Jesus savior Ryan.

I’m not sure you are entirely accurate in that. Just take a look at the poll coming out showing Trump with 37% of the Ind vote. Cruz might be getting some anti-Trump votes, sure, but I think Trump is stronger than is currently thought.
