If Trump goes to the convention with 1237, it will be hell. He might get the nomination, but it will be incredibly bloody. Think Iwo Jima.

If he goes with 1236, they will steal it.

Then it will be Hiroshima. About 10 million Republicans will leave the party in protest. I have already decided that is what I will do. I will vote for NO Republican at any level except Kelli Ward because she’s running against McCain. Not a dogcatcher, not a commissioner, no one.

Exposing Truth does NOT make a man unfit for office. It makes those who hate truth and decency, undeserving of such a man as a leader.

Cruz has known his NBC status all this time. Why else would he have his files sealed? He’s in league with the establishment. No other explanation for him running knowing he has no shot to be president.

It might be time to consider a national divorce.

At first you don't secede.....

"Secession belongs to a different class of remedies. It is to be justified upon the basis that the States are Sovereign. There was a time when none denied it. I hope the time may come again, when a better comprehension of the theory of our Government, and the inalienable rights of the people of the States, will prevent any one from denying that each State is a Sovereign, and thus may reclaim the grants which it has made to any agent whomsoever."

Guess who....

The GOP will ALWAYS have the image of Hillary’s face and the sound of her voice as the opposition. That will heal a lot of internal wounds.

I worked really hard to get Rep. Brat elected to congress and to beat Cantor. I believe the Cantor defeat was the election heard around the world. Nobody paid attention and it was forgotten immediately. But in actuality it was the opening volley in this upheaval. I will vote for Rep. Brat again but that is it. No other GOPers.

The USA owes a debt of gratitude to the 7th Va district.

The GOP, if it is breaking, is falling under the weigh of its own hubris.

Yeah, I think there are all sorts of people here and there-—Jim Jordan in OH, Jeff Sessions.

But we have to be careful not to start looking at the Dems and say, “well, they are worse.” When we do that, we’re like the people in “Alien” where that creature is wrapping itself around their insides. Sooner or later our guts explode.

This is what happens when those who run the party actually want to lose the election.

You can thank Kasich, Cruz, the GOPe and the RNC for this.

They are doing everything in their power to get the criminal Hillary elected.

Only NEARLY destroyed?

The GOPe has lost the base, forever.

The national GOPe is dead. They have big money donors, but most of their voters are gone. I, for one, will not be back.

“If Trump goes to the convention with 1237.”

Even if he gets 1237 the GOPe STILL has to “certify” the delegates.

They won’t.

They’re already talking about not recognizing Trump delegates from MA.

Again, certified or not, this is democracy. (Please don’t start the “Republic vs. Democracy” stuff now).

This is one of the biggest problems facing our nation, and not just with Trump. The Dinobernie people are gonna see it soon, too. They are about to get royally screwed. I don’t know if he would have the delegates anyway, but it would sure be close.

With Trump, however, “the people” are going to see this: He wins, he is screwed. They will never trust the system, or the GOP, again. Ever. If he is close, and gets screwed, ditto.

There would be a certain resignation if he doesn’t get to 1000, but that won’t happen.

Bottom line, the GOPe Wizards of Smart better think long and hard about what they are doing not only to destroy the party, but the nation if they try this. They think Trump is Mussolini/Hitler? Just wait until they try to screw him (and possibly Bernie) in the nomination. We are rapidly losing control of the CONCEPT of a democracy, and when that goes, the GOPe will be the first ones standing up against a wall.

From the article, “Cruz, the closest rival to Trump in the delegate count, acknowledged Wednesday that’s Trump’s attacks on his wife, Heidi, have made him reconsider his pledge to the Republican National Committee to support the GOP nominee.”

There it is again - “Trump’s attacks on his wife” WHAT ATTACK? This is driving me crazy! I’ve been through everything over and over again and I can’t find it.

I suppose people are referring to Trump’s tweet (in response to the Cruz PAC Melanie ad in Utah) where he says something to the effect “Leave my wife alone or I’ll spill the beans on yours”. That threat was delivered when the Trump camp put out info about Heidi’s past with C. Rice, CFC, Goldman Sachs, etc. That information was common knowledge for the informed, and I don’t see how it’s an attack.

So, is that tweet and press release the “attack”?

The man from Canada is a means to an end, that end being a GOPe approved candidate. If they succeed in denying Trump the nomination they will open it up to other candidates.

I am done with the GOP. The premise is spot on.

I will vote for Trump this time. The GOP is close to being irrelevant and should die. A new party with real political clout needs to be form. The Tea Party at this point is bad branding.. A new name should be found.

“The facts say, Cruz can’t win FL,OH, or VA. He has to win all of them; therefore a vote for Cruz is a vote for Hillary.”

You’re correct.

The GOPe know it too.

If he goes with 1236, they will steal it.

They will steal it if he has 1237 or more also.

So much for the "consent of the governed."

“Bottom line, the GOPe Wizards of Smart better think long and hard about what they are doing not only to destroy the party, but the nation if they try this.”

It’s done.

“They think Trump is Mussolini/Hitler? Just wait until they try to screw him (and possibly Bernie) in the nomination. We are rapidly losing control of the CONCEPT of a democracy, and when that goes, the GOPe will be the first ones standing up against a wall.”

At this point we need to Alinsky Romney, Grahamnesty or Rinse, bring up “charges” of fraud, sabotage, negligence pick one of the above and hammer away relentlessly at the target.
