GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump caused another media frenzy over comments he made during a series of interviews in the aftermath of news that his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, had been charged with simple battery. The charge stems from an incident where Lewandowski allegedly grabbed the arm of former Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields after a press conference in early March.
During interviews Tuesday night and Wednesday with almost all of the major news outlets, Trump defended Lewandowski’s actions and he dismissed the incident as “very minor,” telling reporters “practically nothing happened” and that he didn’t believe police should’ve brought charges in the case. But what really seemed to set people off is when Trump went a step further and suggested that he might press for charges himself over what happened.
“I’m sure there will be a counter-claim coming down the line,” Trump said in an interview Wednesday morning on Good Morning America. “Should I file charges against her because she touched my arm as well?”

Clearly both camps are lying. My understanding the reporter lied about being bit and dragged to the ground.
And Trump camp lied about saying it never happened.
I don’t like Trump, but this is BS. Oh and it’s not witness tampering if the state charges the person.
First I’m not a Trump person at all (check my posting history). Second, if he loses Wisconsin he will not be the nominee as he won’t get to 1237. So at that point he has nothing to lose, but to get a little payback on the lying reporter.
She lied. Trump’s people lied. But you don’t make this a police matter. If what she said was true ok yes then get the police involved. If he had bit her and dragged her to the ground, but he didn’t. She got her feelings hurt so she went to the police...that is pretty obvious to anyone that listened to her interview.
Negative, there is no reason to fire any agents. This event was held at a Trump property so the SS detail was not as hard line as they would otherwise be. They had in fact told Fields and others to stand back as the procession exited the room. This can be heard on Fields own recording.
Lewandowski IS part of security as manager. He sees Trump react to Fields “battery” and moves in AHEAD of the SS agent to ease Fields back where she belonged.
Bottom line, Fields is a serial liar who accuses others to make herself the story.

His intent is clearly in play if he does file a complaint. Expecially after the fact almost 3 weeks.
She didn’t file charges against Corey. The State did via the Police and Prosecutor. She filed a complaint.

The DA has stated he has not even gotten the complaint from the police yet and has no clue if they will even charge Lewandowski.
But I only listen to half of what it tells me and believe less than that. LOL
I continue to post Donnie's transgretions because the Trumpkin Patch kids seem to only remember the last days positions on anything. Anything past that is not material... My suggestion is that if you don't like what you are reading about Donnie perhaps you ought to re examine your support of the feller! Because you sure can't attack the facts of donnie's past actions as being false.

I think you are right. She also seems to have a history of making accusations, which gets her attention.
But they would agree to the other charges of being touched? Makes sense.
