Glenn Beck devoted a portion of his radio program Wednesday to play an audio clip of Mark Levin, who blasted Beck’s critics on his own show.

[Beck]’s a very religious man. And he is being trashed and he is being smeared. And things he says are being taken out of context. He’s being brutalized. People want to destroy him and destroy his career because he doesn’t support Trump. He’s campaigning out there for

. Now why would you do that to him? If he’s as bad as they say, why not leave him alone and he’ll do what he does, and off he goes? Why the hate for Glenn Beck?

But day in and day out, this assault on Glenn Beck. To what end? To ruin him? They’re not going to ruin him. Again, you don’t have to agree with him. You don’t have to agree with the things he says — his religious beliefs and so forth. That has nothing to do what anything anyway. So what? So what?

I think the difference is — and maybe it’s a religious view of his, or personal — I don’t know. He doesn’t really fight back. I don’t take crap. And I never will take crap. I never did as a kid, I never did as a young adult, and I won’t now. I just won’t. And if somebody’s out to ruin me, I will address it. I will become obsessed with it. I have never liked bullies, ever. Even bullies who were bigger than I. And they regret it.

Beck killed Beck. His best gig was on FNC, since then he has been headed off into the sunset. I really tried listening to his radio show but it’s a bunch of cross talk buffoonery. My wife managed to take about one minute of it one morning and said who are these high school kids on the radio, turn this crap.

We need a button on FR. A "Give it a rest" button. Endless posts on the same thing, over and over, among a small minority, designed to harass and wear down the vast majority, are so annoying. It is a communist tactic (I am not saying you are communist, only that the tactic was created by them.) They developed the strategy of planting 5 supporters in a room of say 300, at a town hall or public event. One of their group would stand up and say something following their script. Someone over in another corner would stand up and support them, and add to the script. And so on, until 5 people in a row made it look to the people there as if everyone agreed with the radical position. Everyone who didn't agree would stay silent, now questioning their position.

I am convinced that the 5 or 10 people who come to every thread, even when it has nothing to do with Trump or Cruz, and who do nothing more than say worthless, non-substantive crap like you just did, are following a similar gameplan. You are trying to make it seem as though you are a significant part of the conservative movement. But you're not. You're outliers, dead-enders, many of whom are likely being paid.

I think you should get 5 Give It A Rests, and then your posting is done for a week, like if you make too many attempts to get into an iPhone. Get another one too soon, and it becomes a month. 10 of them, and, like with an iPhone, your existence is wiped, or, as we say here, zotted.

He ran his own ‘Peoples Temple’, talked about God all the time, he was a ‘social justice warrior’ long before the phrase came into play, and he was a big pal to ‘RATS like Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter, AND California Governor Jerry Brown.

That's my recollection, too. Levin had a demeaning nickname for other talk show hosts and spent a lot of time criticizing them. Pretty sure Savage, and Beck, and he had a nickname for Hannity, too IIRC. (I never decoded the nicknames). Levin would call them all "backbenchers"

For years, until now, I was fine listening to Levin, and liked him, though with my grandkids in the car I often had to turn him off, especially when they were little.
