The actress and activist has been a powerful surrogate for Sanders on the campaign trail over the past few months, and during an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes Monday night, she said she doesn’t know if she can bring herself to vote for Clinton if it comes down to it.
“I think, in certain quarters, there’s growing concern that the folks that are into Bernie Sanders have come to despise Hillary Clinton or reject Hillary Clinton and that should she be the nominee which is as yet undetermined, they will walk away,” Hayes said.
“Tha’'s a legitimate concern,” Sarandon replied, “because they’re very passionate and principled.”

I like what she is saying. A lot of the Bernie supporters won’t be motivated to turnout and vote for Hillary. Many will likely just stay home.

Bernie may be a loon, but he is a thorn in the side of the Democrat Party establishment in kinda the same way Trump is to the Republicans.
Think about it. Bernie is fighting for the nomination of the D Party without much taking black voters into account at all. Oh, he gives it lip service, but he really didn't campaign much in states with a large AA population.
And his stance on campaign funding puts him sort of in the same pile as Trump... well, a little bit. They both certainly complain about politicians being bought.
I don't think a whole lot of Bernie's loons will cross to vote for Trump, but some will. But I bet that many, many of them will just stay home.
The same way I think many Trump supporters will stay home if the establishment screws him out of the nomination.
