Good evening, Sand...((HUGS))...has Charlie recovered from his activities of yesterday?
Evening, Lauren. Thanks for another road trip.
I was at Ft. Gordon from Sep. '69 thru Feb. '70 for my 35K avionics mechanic training and then off to Vietnam.
Welcome home, I was in 'Nam too, God Bless!
I am off for home....back in a while.
Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,
Good evening, Kathy...((HUGS))...Charlie has recovered better than II Ho’d you like his little greeting to you this morning?
Off for home before they turn the lights out on a Monday? I hope this means you had an easy day.
Never forget them!
If my hubby hadn’t gotten out of the AF when he did, he’d have been over there, too. There bur for the grace of God....
It's still light out here on the left coast.
Laaaazy day for me, didn't do a lot except go out and get some breakfast.
Crappy weather today, sun, rain, sun, wind, sun, more wind...sigh.
Later this week I hear Spring will arrive.
Howz things with you?
Hubby did his part and God Bless him.
I just can't believe that Vietnam was so long ago, maybe I'm getting old, LOL!
Let’s not say the “O” word! LOL!
Howdy, PRO.
LOL! Your weather today sounds like what we get too much of here in TN during Spring. Not much fun to get out in but makes for a good laaaazy day.
It was a pretty day here but a little cool. I replanted a few bulbs that needed to be moved from under a cherry tree that was dying. I’d intended to do it a little later but Hubby decided to yank the tree out this afternoon. Soooooo, so much for my planned laaaazy day. LOL!
But since I didn’t feel like cooking afterwards, it was a fish sammich and Salted Caramel Truffle Blizzard for supper. YUM!
It IS hard to believe Vietnam was so long ago, isn’t it. I married my first hubby in ‘71. He was a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune and had just gotten back from deployment when we met.
When I think about how many years ago it was, it’s like “OUCH! Where did the time go???” In some ways, it seems like just last week. I guess because of all that’s going on overseas, it keeps bringing memories back.
I've got to get back and get a Blizzard soon, y'all are making me hungry!
OMG, I said y'all...
Yeah, it rocks! Tummy is very happy now. Fish sammich was delicious but the Blizzard is ideal!
Heh, so we southerners are rubbin’ off on ya, huh? :-)
LOVIN’ that owl! That’s a beaut!
How was your Monday?
It was a decent one here.
