Ted Cruz still won't say if he'll back Donald Trump
CNN ^ | March 28, 2016 | Theodore Schleifer

Ted Cruz for a third time would not say that he would support Donald Trump as the GOP presidential nominee, the latest sign that his pledge to do so may be softening. Cruz late last week began signaling that his unconditional support for the Republican front-runner was not as ironclad as previously. But asked by CNN's Sunlen Serfaty on Monday if he would definitively say that he would not support Trump, the Texas senator left his answer ambiguous.

"I'm not in the habit of supporting people who attack my wife and attack my family," Cruz said. "Donald Trump is not gonna be the nominee. We are gonna beat him for this nomination."

Oh just stfu already cruz. You've been caught diddlin eight whores. Withdraw.

By all means. As soon as the world's top serial adulterer, Donald Trump, who's been with 10,000 shores, withdraws first.

Outside of innuendo, and unproven tweets, you have concrete proof of this?

I must of missed this in breaking news.

Kasich, Cruz, and Trump are all on the hook to support the nominee because they pledged to do so. From now on we might need to have politicians start qualifying all their pledges with suicide contracts ;) I say this because I am tired of politicians making promises and then breaking them.

“Why on earth would any sane man support a con man creep who launched a nasty, disgusting, personal attack on his wife?”

That’s why I support Trump over Cruz. Having that PAC put out the picture STARTED EVERYTHING.

I’m not the original poster, but thank you for being polite in your request not to talk about the issue on this thread.

And I’m serious about that; all this name-calling between Freepers is slowly turning me into the crazed internet troll that I don’t want to be because I just keep seeing red. Civility is nice to see once in a while.

There has been far too little of it lately. Everyone is demonizing the other candidate and everyone is also forgetting that they are human beings, and so are their supporters.

We need to put this nasty acrimony behind us. It helps no one but Hillary.

Dems will hate Cruz in the same way they hated Palin, but worse.

Yes they will. They will recoil from him the way a vampire recoils from the light of day... and for the same reason. Because they are evil, and they fear a righteous man.

The vote for Obama and McConnell if that’s what you want.

No, i'm against them. That's why i'm supporting Cruz.

That’s just politics and Cruz has no control over a Super PAC. The bottom line is: Cruz didn’t attack Trump’s wife.

Maybe Trump should declare he will support the nominee, oh wait he doesn’t have to play by the rules, I forgot. Maybe he can sue Ted for support.

Cruz may not have control but he could have denounced it, which he didn’t!

Yes, he could have but there’s no reason to in politics because that’s the game. What Cruz didn’t do was attack Trump’s wife which is what some have been saying for too long now.

Cruz did attack Trumps wife, he just did so hiding behind a super pac, which he refused to denounce.

That’s not how super PACs work. So far I’ve seen no evidence to support the claim.

I’ll continue supporting Cruz but if Trump is the nominee I’ll definitely support Trump.
