Is he hinting that the ‘mistress’ stories are correct, and that the ‘rape’ that took place was that they were totally lied to?

Will the unthinkable happen and he wind up supporting Trump :) /s

When it comes down to Trump v Hillaryous Rotten Criminal some will see the "no more Bushes, no more Clintons" light. Others will just see Hillaryous Rotten and say, "No way Jose".

C'mon November

Beck may know something. After his unhinged rape scenario, he indicated that he could forgive Cruz for one affair. Not for five, but for one. Seems like he could be leaving the door open to such a situation being true, as opposed to insisting Cruz is innocent.

Beck is unglued mentally if he thinks a recent liaison since Cruz went into the Senate is okay. That’s the period during which Cruz has been Mr Religion Goes to Washington.

Twenty years ago, I’d probably agree with him. But not since 2012.

Yet Amanda's LinkedIn page says she LIVES in the "DC Metro" area, so why is she in a DC hotel?

Because the pic was likely taken on Super Tuesday (March 1), when the hours worked on TV are ridiculous and hotel rooms are either comped or a good idea for pundits that work long hours?

FWIW

In 2008 I was working as an independent consultant, working for a company where a previous boss of mine, my supervisor at a previous employer was now working, and I was working on a rather complex payroll/HRIS conversion with a very tight and compressed timeline.

The company was located in downtown Annapolis and I was at the time living in Baltimore City and was communing back and forth every day except for the days when I could work from home – it was about a 35-minute drive each way, much longer in rush hour traffic but as I was working very long hours – going in very early and leaving very late most days, I typically missed the worst of it.

But as we got close to the go-live, the first live payroll the first week of January, there was still a lot left to do.

So for the 2 days prior to the go-live, the company booked for me and for the other outside consultants who were commuting in from DC and for several key employees who lived in the Annapolis area, a block of hotel rooms at the hotel located across the street from their office. And as the hotel chain was also a customer of this company, they got a very good rate. I was not “free” or comped to the company but greatly discounted but it was “comped” to me and the other consultants and the key employees as the company paid for our rooms and for our meals (not that many of us had any time to eat).

We checked in early on that Sunday morning and worked at the company’s office all day and very late into that evening. On Monday we were back at the offices at 5 AM and worked again until very late – till about 2 AM and then we went back to the hotel and caught a few short hours of sleep before returning to the office at 5 AM the next morning for the go-live PR processing. Even though we were all within “commuting” distance, it made sense for us and for the company to put us up in a nearby hotel. Nobody wanted to take the risk of any of us having car troubles or getting in an accident or getting stuck in traffic.

For several years I performed admin and special event services for a non-profit women’s org in the Baltimore/DC area. One year for their annual luncheon, held at the largest hotel/conference center in downtown Baltimore, their key note speaker was Lady Margaret Thatcher.

It was their biggest and the highest profile speaker that they had ever had to date. I was in charge of tracking the reservations, (and processing the payments and the bank deposits) and in charge of overseeing the registration tables and of all the volunteers at the luncheon – basically making sure that everyone was checked in and got to their table seating on time in addition to fielding all the questions and things like the “special meal” requests for the luncheon - Kosher or Vegetarian…. and a few handicapped special seating arrangements and also checking media credentials and directing the media people to where they needed to be and not be….

Not only was the attendance very large – well over 3,500 attendees and was sold out, we had some special security concerns with all the VIP’s (many high profile local and national politicians and high profile business executives and along with all the local and national media people) along with the demands that Scotland Yard put on us and just a few days prior such as making sure we were able to give them a complete list of all the names of all the attendees in advance, that every attendee had to be given a personalized name tag and that each and every person attending had to sign in at the registration table and be checked off from the “official list” – and that any last minute guest substitutions had to be alerted to and vetted by one of the Scotland Yard agents who were overseeing the registration table. And FWIW, there were also some SS agents there too.

I along with the org’s event committee members were working feverously the week prior to insure that the event went off without a hitch, making sure the table arrangements for the corporate sponsors and for the VIP’s and for the individual ticket holders and all last minute changes in attendees, that everyone were all seated were they were supposed to sit and were accounted for and had paid, in addition to making sure we adhered to all of Scotland Yard’s security requirements.

Even though I lived in Baltimore City and the hotel was only about a 20-minute commute from my home, the org. reserved a block of rooms for me and for key org. committee members at the hotel where the event was taking place the night before so we could all work late into the night, we worked until about 3 AM, to insure we could be there very bright and early the next morning.

I had to meet with the hotel staff and members of Scotland Yard very early that morning, starting at 6 AM to arrange for them go through the venue with the bomb sniffing dogs. I also had to meet with a member of Scotland Yard at 7 AM to review the final guest list and review our and Scotland Yard’s check-in procedures. I then had to meet with our check-in volunteers at 8 AM to review all these procedures, how to give out the pre-printed name tags and give them the final guest list and table arrangement charts that we had only finalized a few hours earlier.

I was exhausting work, I think I went well over 48 hours without any real sleep and without any real meals (but lots of coffee) but it was well worth it as I got to briefly meet and shake Lady Thatcher’s hand and got to hear her speak in person.

Sorry for the long post but I wanted to point out instances where someone, even if living in and within commuting distance might stay at a hotel before a major event. YMMV.
